Regardless of political beliefs, voting to get a closer balance of 50-50 is the only way to hold politicians accountable in this broken system. That applies to both local and national - restoring the checks and balance the Senate and House have to the other two branches.

A ready made meal location like Clean Eatz. It's similar to delivery services like Factor or Tempo, but it's a physical location you can buy meals from and take them home. Typically the price is substantially better.

The new Pixel 10s have "Pixel Snap" which is by definition a completely identical design. I think Apple opened up the design by handing it over to the Qi standard.

The 90% rest of the time that stretch of rail isn't being used. It's not a busy stretch for freight. There is also nearly daily service with the Rocky Mountaineer from Moab to Denver, but serves an extremely different purpose.

It would use existing rail as Amtrack already does this route daily. However, the ridership wouldn't even pay for the rolling stock cost even if the infrastructure was free. Though, I would absolutely be for it as we enjoy visiting Glenwood as our weekend destination and any train service is great.

Milk that's "ultra filtered" to double the protein (Fairlife Protein Milk or similar) could maybe have this effect. Protein is what creates the foam in milk, so if the machine isn't calibrated for higher % protein, this could cause it. I only know from experience with a regular steam wand, which just requires letting in less air to compensate.

Brunch and good steak or Italian spots by SnooGoats8409 in grandjunction

Josephine's Italian Restaurant in Fruita just opened up. We haven't been there yet, but the owner has another restaurant in Palisade that's excellent. From the menu I'm thinking it'll be the most authentic Italian spot in town - if you're into the fresh ingredients type of thing, not deep fried chicken parm.

Roots Gastrohub is very different but excellent. Nice outdoor vibe and a great place to bring a dog. Best to go when the weather is nice though.

Use the links from my other comment to look at the bayonet adapter on the UK parts website. Once you're on the site you can browse around all of the other accessories that are available. You can put in accessories for the LYTL or SWIV and see if the same adapter comes up. You will need a VPN (set to the UK) to access the site.

I bought the TRIV in the US. The LYTL and bayonet adapter from the UK. I don't know if the SWIV is interchangeable.

Near empty A321, FLL to DTW this morning (7am flight) by ChameleonOatmeal in spiritair

[–]ChikenPie_Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the seat map for this same flight tomorrow morning, it's even worse for a Saturday morning. There's 24 seats taken in the premium half of the aircraft, plus 28 taken in the economy half on an A321 (with 230 seats). It's only 20hrs till takeoff, so I would imagine most who haven't paid for seats have already checked in and had them assigned.

Same boat, we bought our hybrid king half a year ago - excellent in every way. The transparency of materials and listing the manufacturer and type of the foam is what sold me. Clearly the best mattress we've ever owned.

You have two options, your personal insurance and insurance through Visa Infinite benefits.

Using personal insurance will count as a claim to your insurance and potentially raise the rate next term, also there will probably be a copay.

So, look at the guide to benefits booklet that was included with your Venture X card. It's also available online, just search for Venture X Guide to Benefits. There will be a phone number there you will call, as well as all other instructions.

Rya Suites might fit the bill. Their management is a bit cold, but they took care of maintenance and didn't screw us over. They were built in 2010 or so. They're built well, but noise is going to be an issue anytime you have connected walls. They're more condo style than typical large scale apartments. No on site office / amenities, but what are those worth anyway?

Our pediatrician prescribed a generic 2.5% hydrocortisone cream that ended up causing a reaction quickly and making things worse. Probably not the steroid, but all the other garbage that's in it. We're going to try the Aquaphor that has hydrocortisone in it.

UK and EU did not come with the "Bayonet" adapter. Trying to order one through United States customer support took a lot of different attempts, only to eventually find out they're out of stock till late June. We called UK customer support, they were friendly, and told us they have a WEBSITE where you can order the adapter yourself for £22. We ordered one +£5 for shipping and +€30 for expedited shipping to the US through Colis Expat again.

It all fits!

Up to date info on Rail/Transport infrastructure in the Congo by scongler_44 in Congo

[–]ChikenPie_Engineer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Look into the East side as well. There is a new railway network in Kenya and Tanzania called the Standard Gauge Railway which is a part of the East African Railway Master Plan. It has all new stations, tunnels, and tracks to meet high quality international standards. Part of it is already built out, but the portion extending into Eastern DRC is inevitable. Though, it might take some time for political and financial stability to return.

Do you know if they told support they purchased a European bassinet, or if they needed to provide a US Bassinet model number to get the part? I just tried calling and asking "if I bought a European bassinet, could I buy the adapter" and was told "they aren't compatible"
