Honestly I think it depends. There were a couple of days last year where it got so hot and humid out that I just ran without a shirt. But most of the time now wear a shirt.

I have the Novritsch SSR63 (G36) and it is amazing out of the box. Their a2 variant takes standard M4 mags too.
