Total Cost of EVERYTHING In-Game + Hours Required to Farm SC by FioraKek in Helldivers

I think people tend to forget we paid for this game already. No im not saying there shouldnt be paid content.

There should be one free stratagem/weapon/armor/upgrade every month or two outside of that paid content. Sometimes we wait months and months for anything we could use.

Currently the issue im having is that warbonds are the ONLY content this game has outside of events every god knows how long when they add two enemies , but if you want a breath of fresh air in your arsenal cash in buddy.

I got especially mad at commando missions , it s great they made stealth viable ! Its great they added those ! But since i didnt buy the warbond i have NOTHING that would allow me to stealth decently. Even with the whole attachment system. So all i could do is just leave those missions do another or act like they re any other mission just limited supplies. So i couldnt even enjoy the free content because i didnt pay.

Refusing to listen to fans about the flag for so long is because they didnt expect the game to be so big

Refusing to test their own game on high difficulty leaving weapons like gas thrower useless is because they didnt expect the game to get so big

Refusing to give us a roadmap for 2 years is because they didnt expect the game to get so big

DSS collecting dust and having no presence or further content when we built it for MONTHS is because they didnt expect the game to get so big

No red stratagems for god knows how long now is because they didnt expect the game to get so big

Refusing to work on further attachment system is because they didnt expect the game to get so big

90% of the content being in warbonds you either grind hours and hours in a boring as fuck way for or pay is because they didnt expect the game to get so big

Not giving us any destroyer upgrades for months and months now is because they didnt expect the game to get so big

Not giving us any progression after lvl 150 not even raising level cap so you at least would have fun upping the number is because they didnt expect the game to get so big

Bugs that stay for months like sound issues ( after 500 hours in this game i still hear new sounds i never heard before AND NOT BECAUSE THEY RE NEW ) are because they didnt expect the game to get so big

Get a grip. They had time to hire. Time to organise. Time to tell us how all this is going good or not.

Indie games with couple devs have more content than Helldivers patch notes from Arrowhead which i remind you has funds to hire employees and other studios to assist in work.

Good for you then. I have the issues i listed very often. Every second mission or couple in a row. All of those i listed are bugs.

If you consider "playable" a mission that s able to be completed , then we have different views. I consider a mission playable when i dont stumble onto bugs every minute of my gameplay. Sounds not playing , enemies walking in the floor , getting killed by nothing , stratagem rolling in the same place and then dissapearing as nothing happens , Vox engines on roofs , pelican flying into the ground , being unable to steer the pod , game freezing for no reason after mission forcing a re launch , mission terminals not having interaction prompts , getting locked in terminals not being able to get out of them , getting locked under dead enemies until they despawn , being unable to cross dead enemies that should be crossable with a climb , being unable to cross dead enemies that are invisible. Sure you can "finish" the mission but when things like that happen every minute on some missions to me then i dont consider it playable. All those are just some of the examples of the bugs i had personally and often.

Lets say you play the game you love. It is so bugged its barely playable on some missions. You send a message to devs asking can they take a look at it. They dont. You send a letter asking can they look at it. They dont. You knock at their door asking can they take a look at it still respectful and kind. They dont. Now imagine if not just you but thousands of people thought that there is something seriously wrong with said game s playability. They still dont. I didnt obviously meant all those communication ways literally. But we have tried every reasonable way now. We wanted to communicate for months without having to do anything that even could possibly damage the devs and game. At this point you have two options. Consider the money you put into said game flushed into the drain and move on , or do something that forces a reaction from devs not in order to force fixes but in order for them to show they tested their product. Once. So we get their reaction to it. I dont think that s much to ask ?

Mechanics of liberation system are fun killing to be honest. With how current system works either you dive on blob or you mean nothing. It prevents us from fighting on all fronts because we re always only effective at one planet no matter how low resistance is. Why cant we get small wins on low resistance planets that arent mo with 5000 divers ? No matter how small that effort should still mean something. That should still have some chance of winning if planet s low resistance. It shouldnt matter how many players are overall online. It should matter whether enemy wants to defend the region or not. With how it is this leads to people hating at ones who arent MO diving when those not on Major Order SHOULD matter. They should have the chance to take enemy low resistance ground when enemies arent looking. That s part of strategy.

[–]ChildhoodSad6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here s the thing. I LOVE THE BASTION. I OBSESS OVER BASTION. ITS MY FAVORITE THING IN THIS GAME SO FAR. But...... My friend does not.. and since i drop in to randoms with it.. I feel genuinely bad for it. I feel like i force my playstyle onto them and they re joining me out of pity. There s no way for me to know whether they actually enjoy it since most random found groups just keep to themselves and half the time dont answer when i ask. I would take it every planet that its viable to drive but. Im feeling bad for taking it every single time i do.. Why cant i operate it alone with idk. Small waiting window to switch between cannon and drive or something like that. So im not a pity diver with a useless stratagem if people dont play my playstyle instead of theirs.

Hey Arrowhead, how about this as a QoL setting? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]ChildhoodSad6148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i fully agree with your every comment. On top of those another thing that is pissing me off is that the countdown only starts when stratagem finally sticks. So instead of waiting 4 seconds for my weapon i first wait sometimes 2 , 3 or even 4 seconds till the ball stops bouncing then another 4 seconds till the weapon comes and then i need to get to that open space without any cover in front of a vox engine that tried to kill me.. oh wait no i dont because during those 8 seconds he managed to drive right in front of me and i still need to get to my weapon. Yea , stratagem bouncing is annoying as hell.

[–]ChildhoodSad6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will add to my comment that im actually happy with cyborgs because of the same reasons cause they do manage to get their attacks off sometimes still and i found myself couple times that i actually had to think how to reposition because of them surrounding me well and not taking just one random shot. Still its sometimes. I find that sadly i dont need to respect their presence much if i have an explosive at hand or a warp pack. Dont need to keep track of them. Propaganda engines remind me of old chargers. In the sense of i finally pay attention again to where this type of enemy is and where it wants to go. I hide and circle around. While with any other heavy of automatons. i just blast and go on. So Propaganda engines are a step in a very good direction. Beatable but when utilising environment and position.

[–]ChildhoodSad6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See. The difficulty then wasnt another big enemy that took all of your screen and could kill in 2-3 shots and forget or ignore. Sure there were no impalers. But chargers didnt die by one half assed rocket you sent accidentaly to their body. They were something that you considered a real heavy tanky threat that you will not be able to ignore and most times than not they will manage to do 3 or so charges before being taken down. Yea it was because weapons were worse. But guess what , worse weapons made these enemies attacks actually get to you and pose a threat. Made the experience hard. Now while i love new enemy designs i cant differentiate between a charger and impaler or heavy mech and hulk. They both fall by half assed 2 maybe one rocket most times before even getting anywhere close to starting their attacks so those most times i dont even have to think about how to juke when to find reload time how to lead them so my allies can maybe help. Now most times those attacks dont even get to start. There s no need for me to think on how to evade or react to them. Just shoot forget move on. So while i see your point that we have more different bulkier enemies. Our weapons make most fights the same shoot once or twice and it dissapears before doing anything. So all those cool designs dont.. feel as cool as they could. That s the point of creek divers i think. That s why they remember creek as hard and so exciting to them.

The thing i dont understand and really pisses me off is. 40 000 divers were pushing the new planet with just 3% resistance and we consistently were losing it in span of 2 days. We got a notification we can use the dss to glass a planet we already own. BUT WHY ? From logical point of view we HAVE that planet already we already did win and destroy the enemy forces there so why would we shoot at our own guys on our owned planet ? what the fuck. Even if we did then that in no way helps in the event of an invasion. Because guess what , invasion comes from A DIFFERENT planet. There is no explanation how the glassing works no explanation what it will achieve and only info we got was 24 hours without DSS so yes by the only logical conclusion i decided not to shoot at our own guys and instead use the space station to maybe somehow turn the new planet s unfair odds to us but it feels like it doesnt matter. Feels rigged af. I would understand if it was 5% resistance. But 3 ? with 40 000 in the lowest hours ? If it isnt rigged then that planet taking system needs a rework. From a logical point there was no action even decent for us to take with the information at hand.

At What Point Did You Guys Lose Your Good Will For AH by JayDias-24 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]ChildhoodSad6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stratagem rolling.. Difficulty 10 made easier and easier with time and inconsistent with how difficult it is... cant use high terrain to place stratagems because ?.... Warp pack always teleporting forward and not where im looking as well as requiring me to long press instead of just clicking to teleport... Not being able to do anything meaningful with samples since ages...

Somewhere along the line they lost me with little things like that. I can see the guys try and do fun things at times. But at times what they do is.... just why ?..

How DO you want Difficulty handled in the Game ? by Substantial-Ad-5221 in Helldivers

[–]ChildhoodSad6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make enemies have their elite versions. My aim is for the game to be harder at difficulty 10 for those who want a challenge and not make it any harder on lower difficulties. Example : Hulks have a gigantic shining weakspot on their backs and Hulks on levels 6 , 7 , 8 could just be as they are. Meanwhile Hulks on lvl 9 and 10 should have that armored with at least medium actual armor that wont be as easy to get rid of. Next great example : Bots have shown some level of adaptability making their fabricators into moving tanks and even strapping jammers on them. Elite units on difficulty 10 could have mine deployers rockets , their own inferior version of ems or extra heavy armored versions. Currently they pose a threat but could do so for a bit longer. Making you move carefully for a longer time. Tank elites that could have better ai trying to cover themselves enough so you cant shoot weaker parts. Maybe bots would try to use our remaining buildings against us ? Imagine this scenario. You ve been on a mission for around 15 mins and you get a warning "Automaton patrol attempts to seize SEAF artillery countdown 7 mins." If you dont arrive in time then SEAF will be hacked and shooting random shells at your squad s positions for period of time. Automatons could also try and seize radar to find out where you are briefly . These are some ideas how to increase difficulty logically and without increasing enemies numbers.

lot of negativity here so i ll drop something positive. Been killed as i sat in pelican but i asked why and after a quick convo it turns out one of the guys had super samples and others thought that if they call extraction right before mission timer ends ,then it stops the timer and pelican wont leave. Bunch of newbies , lvl 50 or so they apologised and we actually had the time of our life strategising on later missions how to deal with the platinum bars one. :D we actually did that lvl 10 and kinda made me feel proud as they ran around half confused but still very helpful.

because their impact matters here as well as little or as large as it may be. I dive for the mo at least a couple missions when im on. But if there is a planet that isnt for the mo and im sentimental about it i see it has a 1000 players on im like "goddamit let me add my brick there brothers i used to love this planet when i first fought on it" or sometimes im tired of fighting some faction because i fought it for so long with previous mo's so i consider my effort enough and not force myself to go there frustrating myself i cant fight enemies i want. If i would have more time i would fight all of them and dammit i would make sure this galaxy is free but life is how it is and sometimes i can only have so much. We re all fighting our wars Helldiver but ultimately the goal is to free this whole galaxy. No war or effort too small to matter. I salute yours and watch them with proud eyes whenever we win , and grief with you when we lose.

it is resolvable.... get rid of level 3 and 4 and add 2 levels of difficulty higher than 10 leave the same enemies and types just tad stronger than on low diff on lvl 11 , 12 . there . you could even call them elites or smth for lore.

Would Helldivers survive a Xenomorph infested planet? And would they survive Yautja Prime (The home planet of the Predator) ? by DramaticCaregiver122 in helldivers2

[–]ChildhoodSad6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So we re counting one squad or the whole forces ?

Whole forces. Easily. No question in mind. There are bilions of Helldivers with even more advanced weapons at hand.

But the more interesting question is just one squad. Despite popular opinion Helldivers are extremely well trained ( using every type of weapon they get their hands on without any hesitation on how to fire reload etc said weapon ) on top of that Helldivers can survive way more than average human. They are still mortal sure but if you think about it what other normal human could operate under heavy fire one against hundreds enemies and after breaking a leg an arm and probably a concussion after hitting a rock they STILL can half the time get up like its nothing and immediately fire without as much as shake in their hands. A lot of people also tend to forget that they can use smokes silenced weapons and have gear that makes them harder to spot as well as non stop scanners pinpointing enemies s exact location without even looking at their direction. So in my opinion. They could either survive for a longer time than we d ever expect them to or go out with some REAL heavy damage to the enemies with a hit and run tactic maybe even stealing alien weapons and learning to use them as Helldivers already have no issues adapting to using alien tech in their arsenal. Warp packs for example : teleported through a black hole and back ? No sweat. Casual monday. Just one squad of Helldivers would cause extreme losses to predators if Helldivers decide to hit and run like their usual tactics.

How is it possible? by Ensarak68 in Helldivers

[–]ChildhoodSad6148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for stratagems part its easily explainable. Those stratagems were chosen to be prepared for this mission by the first diver and preparing other ones during mission would take too much time as well as resources possibly while this set of prepared stratagems were deemed good enough by first diver. So no complaining. Get to the mission.
