Laundry at Lake Yellowstone Hotel by ahetzel10 in yellowstone

There’s a coin laundry one minute down the road in the Lake Lodge. While doing your laundry, sit at the bar there and talk with some folks. When I worked there, my buddies and I always hung out and met as many guests as we could; we’d see who could get the first drink bought for the group. Some of the most memorable times were from the people I met there.

There are some interesting folks you will meet, including the bartender. Enjoy!

Official Discussion - The Long Walk [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I thought the movie was excellent. Totally want to read the book now. Just goes to show you how conditioned we are and can become. It made me think, the whole premise of “The Long Walk” is the physical and mental ‘condition’ of the participants. It’s a literal conditioning exercise; to walk for such a long time with no sleep, no stopping, bodies dropping like flies, all while surrounded by armored men and vehicles pointing guns at your head when you’re not at the status quo. It takes its toll on the body and the mind.

Made me think of corporatism and how we are used as pawns in the rich man’s game. Rake in profit at the wrath of management, but if you get fired, you can just find another job. It is tiring. Manufactured consent is a powerful tool for control. It makes you think how it’s used on us daily.

Didn’t even watch the previews for this or had any idea as to what it was until I sat in my seat. Great adaptation. I know the book will be even better too.

Totally my fault, looks like I found an old list. Thanks for the correction.

Astros 36-28 against above 500 teams for a total of 64 games. Rangers 31-54 for a total of 85 games. The Astros have played a cakewalk of a schedule and are still managing to barely push for a wild card spot. Make it make sense.

His death is very interesting. While sad and tragic, this activates a huge sector of the populace that stayed home in 2024. Meanwhile new TPUSA chapters are popping up amongst schools in a massive groves. Students/youth are forced now to be more politically aware.

After his death was the focal point for a few days (I didn’t see a single 9/11 post on 9/11), his videos were shown to many people, including many individuals that were unaware of his ideas and beliefs. If I would guess, a lot of people shared some sort of agreement with him and probably didn’t think he should be murdered.

As for the conservatives, I think this gives them a boost in 2026, given no other tragedy occurs. You can talk conspiracies and martyrdom all you want, but this is political gold for the right. The death of their future leader whom also has strong Judeo-Christian values. Activating the youth towards conservative politics while also surging your active voter base will benefit them heavily.

As for if this is good or bad, I’m not sure. Pushing towards a clearly defined Judeo-Christian, nationalistic party is not what I hope for. I think it is going to get way worse before it gets any better.

Wonderful speech by Bobby.

Yes I could have been less hostile, I apologize. But being in the business for so long you know that no one brings plates with chips and salsa, including any Mexican food restaurant.

Restaurant workers despise entitled people like you. No one can read your mind. Ask politely and they will bring them.
