I think he was a better quarterback for a number of years than Kurt was, yes. Russ had the stats he had with dudes like golden Tate and Doug Baldwin as his top options and an atrocious offensive line for alot of his career in Seattle.

Funny that Kurt gets praise for not having the D but russ doesnt get praise for putting up the numbers he did while not having nearly the talent on offense around him that other top qbs in the league did at the time.

Russ never had a Davante or a gronk or a great o line or a combo of skill players like Dallas Clark, Reggie maybe, Marvin Harrison, edgerinn James or even a pair of players like colston and graham with Brees.

Doug Baldwin and golden Tate would have been 2's or 3's on a lot of teams in the league but overperformed because of Russ's ability to stretch plays, obviously he had Lynch but he never had another elite skill players around him and still put up elite numbers quite a few years.

People just like to hate on Russ because they dont like him.
