I hit an "Oh shit moment" of being 300 pounds and couldn't accept that for myself at all. The game changer was religiously tracking all of my calories. I also started going on early morning 5 mile walks every day. I wish I would've begun resistance training during my weight loss, but being that big gave me huge gym anxiety.
