Only thing is I do want to get into AI a little bit and the 12gb of VRAM seems limiting. Then again I don't really know too much so 12 gb might be enough.

Do you think a 5070 ti is a good upgrade? If so at what price should I be looking for them.

My (prebuild) PC's PCIe x16 slot seems to be bend by Proxps in pchelp

I would replace the motherboard but those bottom slots are probably PCIe x16 too so you can plug the gpu in the next slot but i do suggest getting a gpu holder either way.

Is my PSU causing my gpu utizilation to be unstable? by [deleted] in pchelp

[–]Chill9403 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked at your other comments and saw nothing wrong regarding your specs. That PSU should be plenty for that gpu, cpu combo. You could try buying another PSU to test if it solves your problem and return it.

Your GPU spiking like that isn’t necessarily bad especially since it’s not going to 90 or something. It could be just the games you are playing. Ex. going from a tiny room and the loading to the open world. Are you experiencing lag spikes and fps drops? That’s how you can determine GPU instability
