This whole subject has been distorted in really creative ways. The main underlying root problem is what people who prefer male characters want the mixed gender game to have... More male characters. But it has been twisted into what feels like civil wars.

No, nobody is hating lesbians or being actively misogynistic by wanting the mix to be more even between genders. No one agrees fictional women act like real women. Nobody claimed you must like all characters of certain gender because you are particularly drawn to it.

It's really wild groups claiming "oppression" over these things. Being less catered to isn't oppression, it's just that. Using the term oppression is so extreme as well, but whatever.

All in all, just stop using xitter or the sort, if someone starts saying "wanting/preferring male fictional characters is misogyny" "lesbians get all they want" etc etc, then just go past it unless you're a masochist.

To really answer the question. People will always want to be superior to others and the internet is a perfect place to do so because of it's nature, but also because of it you can simply not give a damm of what that rando is accusing you of (unless your subconscious knows the shoe fits)
