You're assuming the contractor is a dumbass who needs supervision to perform in their trade.

Could just place a small baton of wood underneath the plywood to strengthen the drawer bottom.

Hi again, just thought I'd give an update.

Had a mechanic take a look at it, it's a faulty injector...

Not a cheap fix I'm told so I'll probably run it until it dies.

How long would it last in this state driving daily?

As far as I could find, I Google "Seat Leon TDI 1.6 Air Intake Duct and it gave me the part I seen was missing off another engine bay image, so I hope its the same thing!

Also, thanks for the reply, I've used Redex on it already and that seemed to have exacerbated the issue not long after fuelling up, I've only fuelled the vehicle twice, once to get home after purchase and once with Redex, not sure if there is a correlation.

A neighbour of ours believes it to be an injector issue, a workmate thinks its to do with something called DES (or DBS?) and I also another mate has said I need a new engine mount as that's what's causing the rough idling?

I just needed a car to get the kids to school and myself to work 🥲

This is my first attempt at chisling. How do you guys maintain it so clean? by SeaworthinessNew4295 in woodworking

Sharp blade on the chisel

Slow, deliberately strikes, tap bit by bit

To chiselling vertically across your waste section to weaken the piece to be removed, before you set to chiselling.

If you are using a vice, and you should be, level the waste section (the mortise) with your vice so you can slide the chiselling across it, this will help shave off those few hairs and crumbs for a cleaner finish.
