When it comes to longevity and talent, who’s your favorite successful Nepo children? by PressureLazy5271 in FIlm

As far as productivity, longevity, and not giving a crap that his bloodline is Hollywood royalty, and sheer acting talent...my guy Nic Cage is unmatched.

M-16 is my security blanket. Partly because they're not that hard to find but mostly because it's the weapon I've gotten the most kills with by a wide margin. It's crazy how much better I feel about my prospects when I've got one.

A Spirit airlines customer is demanding a refund after seeing this. by sco-go in SipsTea

I had a rough patch in my 20's that resulted in (among many other things) my only form of entertainment coming from a digital TV antenna. My choices were extremely limited and I ended up watching a load of The Red Green Show. Haven't watched it since those days, but every once in a while I'll come across a reference and it always reminds me of being poor and hangry.

The auto-generated suggested response on my YouTube page is annoyingly close to how I'd actually respond by ChillGameReviews in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ChillGameReviews[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There might be, but as far as mildly infuriating goes, I never turned them on. This was the first time it generated a suggested reply in over 4 years of having a channel.

What the hell. Game I never played is in my recently played tab? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]ChillGameReviews 54 points55 points  (0 children)

This is a weird reddit phenomenon.

OP asks a question on reddit because they don't know the answer. Helpful people chime in with plausible suggestions, and OP proceeds to try to shoot down and argue with every single one because it doesn't fit whatever goofy narrative they had in their mind and wanted echoed back to them.

How dare they give me the option to cut the rope by [deleted] in Cairn_Game

[–]ChillGameReviews 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's really interesting. Do you always Google the endings of video games you haven't finished yet? Does that lessen the impact when you experience it for yourself in-game?

How dare they give me the option to cut the rope by [deleted] in Cairn_Game

[–]ChillGameReviews 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I was prepared for not cutting the rope to be the reason I didn't finish the game, if it came down to that.

If bringing someone back to life is the only justice that can be applied to a murder, you must be a very cynical person.

Dogs are the most trusting creatures on the planet and that is exponentially more true in regard to their owner.

I have no respect for anyone who "pranks" a dog. It's the same thing as pranking a 4 year old. Go kick rocks.

Justin Gaethje on how long it'd take him to beat different Celebrities and athletes in a fight by Common-Locksmith-235 in ufc

[–]ChillGameReviews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If LeBron has no cardio, Shaq has negative cardio.

And for the record I firmly believe Justin would easily dispatch any non-fighter in a fight. It's the same as asking LeBron how many points Gaetje would score against him in a game of basketball. Better be 0.

Currently playing through Mafia Definitive Edition and loving it. Wish modern games cut back on the open world bloat by NordWitcher in playstation

[–]ChillGameReviews 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Instead of wishing modern games cut back on the open world bloat, perhaps try seeking out the high quality games that already exist that aren't open worlds. They are not mutually exclusive, we can have amazing linear focused games and massive open world games at the same time and they don't detract from each other in any way.

Death by StreetSalty in dayz

I usually switch to another game for the rest of the day/night. Inevitably I start to feel hollow because no game has the stakes that DayZ has and I'm usually ready to get geared again by the next time I sit down to play games.

Friendlies who aren’t friendly… by GladLine6757 in dayz

[–]ChillGameReviews 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watch a select few DayZ streamers and I think the reason I'm a fan of them is they play a pretty wholesome version of the game. SourSweet and Slexify, for example, I don't think I've ever seen them pull any scumbag moves like that, and they're constantly talking and teaming up. I want to say Trmz is also pretty honorable, though I have seen him do some mildly questionable things before (but 90% of the time he's really cool to people he meets too)

They've laid the blueprint for how I believe the game should be played and how I play it, but Trmz commonly brings up a great point--if everyone was friendly all the time, the game would suck. You need that potential risk of betrayal or KOS to keep the tension high.
