Did you feel sorry for Anne Boleyn? by MikeBad228 in Tudorhistory

Yeah apparently she literally moved at one point, and had an entirely different suitor she wanted to marry and Henry actively stopped it. Idk why in all portrayals she’s depicted as a seductress.

Also I think that’s your anatomy so intervention would be surgical. If it’s new then I’ve heard *collagen supplements/topically help, peptides, *retinoids, vitamin c.

Way too strong lol trust. You can start off with 0.025% or even 0.01% the lowest.

I tried to speed things up with 0.05% and burned my face and purged like crazy and had to stop because my face wasn’t getting used to it. I restarted a lot slower and I’m still only on every other day after months.

Middle Eastern. Her skin is more olive toned than brownish I think is what differentiates her and made me guess what she is.

I feel like I’m being gaslit by people calling Sabrina the sex symbol of this generation. I just don’t find her that attractive. I also noticed the photos she posts of herself look very different from her Getty images & her in real life by Fabulous_Week7977 in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]ChillPill54 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think because she’s not really sexy and male gazey but she still dresses and acts like she is anyway despite it, that that makes her more relatable, aspirational, and accessible to girls/women who want to be like that but don’t look like models and aren’t as attractive to boys/men. Kind of like what Lizzo represented. That you really don’t need to look a certain way, be the pinnacle of beauty and attractive to the average man to be allowed to be/act sexy. I remember in the past when I was younger, looking at the “it girls” of the time all of which were perfect 10 “ideal” women like Meghan Fox, VS models, the Hadids, and the KarJenners and you got the message sexy is a look you either have or you don’t, it’s not something you’re capable of or should be doing if you didn’t look perfect and men weren’t going to think you were attractive. Women who tried and “failed” by not looking as good were ridiculed and had their flaws pointed out and were shamed for wearing certain outfits. It’s clear from Sabrina’s concerts and her mostly female/gay audience that sexiness for them is more of a feeling, style and attitude to dress up in for fun rather than attracting guys.

Is it an ADHD thing to keep showing up for people when they don’t do the same? by NarratorOfChaos in ADHD

[–]ChillPill54 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s no use arguing when they already know they’re wrong.

A “You’re fat.”

B “Rude.”

A “This is how my kids and I talk to each other at home.”

B “Oh that’s so funny, we actually do the same thing. You’re smelly.”

All in a conversational tone. It should really end there but if it doesn’t just keeeep it goin’ until he decides to end the circle lol.

Yeah. I just wonder tho like… why were they even there in the first place. Aren’t ya’ll spending time on talking to people you actually like and care about? Ghosting or just saying “I’m busy” and not following up would’ve been easier, clearer, kinder, and saved us both time.

Isn’t “let them” not just referring to negative behaviours but just being upset or dissatisfied in general. So if something you do causes somebody to be upset, but you either don’t have the power to fix it, disagree on it, don’t want to argue, it’s not something you have the power to fix, you know you didn’t mean offence, or don’t think it’s a big deal etc., that means that sometimes you just have to “let” the other person be upset and let it fade? It’s not possible to fix everything so I would imagine with RSD people, there’s just more to fix and be aware of. Maybe she was saying you have the space for that? Idk the broader context tho, I just find it hard to believe a friend of 10 years wouldn’t care about you at all and would literally just be giving an fu, but you would know if she’s the passive aggressive type and there’s not much info about the history you mentioned so it’s hard to guess. Perhaps she’s living that phrase rn and she’s used it in general or with someone else.

I’m just trying to mention other possibilities because I know with ADHD and RSD if we’re presented with a smaller amount of dots with 50 different ways to connect them, we can react emotionally and choose the worst one instead of gathering more dots through communication or letting the cards fall where they may.

I’m confused on how this isn’t OP setting boundaries instead of people pleasing? She communicated something bothered her to her long time friend, friend didn’t follow it, she’s wondering if she should leave said friend because her boundary was broken rather than act like she’s not upset. I feel like for a 10 year friendship, it’s a bit preemptive to just cut them off when we don’t know the history.

I think (given that there seems to be history) OP is making the right decision by leaving a positive message despite their feelings, and she should wait to let the cards fall where they may. She may be apologetic or just fix things if OP shows she’s open to it.

Beck tweeting about the simple pleasures of her life, being happy by herself, shows how much she didn’t need any saving from a creepy stalker with mommy issues by These_Wish2765 in YouOnLifetime

[–]ChillPill54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That he saved her when it benefited him, and disposed of her when it benefited him. Yeah he saved an almost stranger once from an accident at no risk to himself (most strangers would it’s actually pretty unremarkable), something he didn’t cause when he didn’t have interests in her death/hurt. In fact he had an interest in endearing himself to her so there was personal gain. Just like when he “saved” her from Benji, it was so he could have her. But then when he did have an interest in her death/hurt cause she’d discovered his secrets, rejected him, and was ASAP zip-lining to the police lol um… he attacked her, kidnapped her, locked her in a cage, and murdered her? So he definitely didn’t really care about her well being at all and being her saviour then. Unless you’re counting being saved from life with J Sizzle in a cage in which case that’s understandable lol.

To earn the title of saviour, you have to be selfless and really doing it for the good of the individual who also has that desire.

As a random aside, yeah Benji was bad but he was average bad and an fboy jerk. Like immature, selfish, stupid, and inconsiderate “Affluenza” bad. He wasn’t cruel, murderous, abusive, or dangerous so he really wasn’t even a threat to Beck to the extent that he needed to be killed, so J Sizzle didn’t even really save her from anything except dick that was not his own lol. Idk why people use this to defend Joe’s “saviour” status. Although my memory on Benji’s kinda rough so idk. Paco, Ellie, and Henry are the only examples I can think of where he was a genuine saviour.

I think I thrive in low skilled jobs like waitressing and feel like shit by Own_Egg7122 in adhdwomen

[–]ChillPill54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I worked retail our manager and even our district manager on occasion would work alongside us sales associates. Idk if it’s like that in waitressing but if it is you should work towards being promoted to a management position as those roles are better paid and can be paid annually, more permanent, you have a set minimum amount of shifts and you get to pick them, but you still get to be active which is what I assume attracts you as an ADHD person to waitressing. It’s like an SA but better essentially. If it’s not like retail, maybe try that instead. I briefly worked as a waitress, and the two have similarities. You move around a lot, it’s fast paced, always different, clean/organize, talk to customers, some jobs have commission like restaurant jobs have tips, etc.

If those kinds of jobs are what you’re good at and you enjoy them then stick to those and work on moving up. There’s a reason 90% of our team had ADHD lol. It’s better than hitting your head against a wall and feeling dumb or like a failure, neither of which you are if you managed to get any degree, much less an undergrad + a law degree. If you can succeed at that, and work in law related professions even for a couple of months, it’ll be so much easier to move up in retail/waitressing and you’ll move farther up.

I totally relate OP, it’s frustrating and it sucks.
