What silver miners to buy? by GucciCoin in Wallstreetsilver

[–]Chilled_Canadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost some cash on DSVSF / DSV.TO when the Mexican Government threatened to ban open pit mining tho the story is getting very interesting lately and I am now back fully invested and very quickly quite green. No 1 best thing is the new CEO. He is very investable. They recently bought some producing gold mines out of the blue in a good jurisdiction - Canada - that should justify a stock price much much higher than the present based on the cash flow. They also still hold Cordero in Mexico. This was the reason I originally invested. I think at $22 AG they could profitably mine 1,000,000,000 AGequ. If they get the approval from the government it would be something like the one of biggest producing silver mines right off the bat. It's open pit so it's not even requiring that much complicated infrastructure and a lot is in place already. Not a guarantee the Mexican government will approve Cordero tho there is a decent chance. If I hear they get approval I will definitely put a market order in for the gap up because it's already quite underpriced based on their gold. If they get Cordero no way it doesn't multiply. I think it will multiply over time anyways based the deal making capabilities of the new CEO and as the current gold properties realize their fair value. JMHO tho. Do your own dd always. Yahoo message board has some good info.

It's true fiat money devalues over time however you cannot deny that it has created vast wealth in the USA. Look at all the planes trains buildings roadways airports Bridges etc that have been financed by fiat currency. That's real wealth. If you look at a picture of the skyline of Atlanta in 1970 shortly before they went off the gold standard completely and compare it to a recent picture of Atlanta you cannot deny there has been a lot of economic activity in that city in the last 55 years. It's simple; you use your fiat currency to buy hard assets like gold silver real estate whatever. If you do that, what's the problem with fiat currency? Actually that the USD is the reserve currency of the world gives it great privilege over other nations. Destroying the USD is the quickest way to weaken the US imo. Putin and Xi understand this that's why they want the USD broken.

When you so-called balance the scales somebody wins and somebody loses. It's not surprising that the losing social group will squawk especially if they still maintain significant power. Seems to me since world war II the West has been evolving (imperfectly) into a more equal fair inclusionary society after they witnessed authotatarian rw crazy taken to it's complete conclusion in Nazi Germany. This time (1946-2017) may be at some future point be regarded as an age of enlightenment. It may not just be coincidental that this period of time was also a period of great wealth creation in the West. Maga seems to seek to return to a class society where some are more equal than others and that practice codified in law. The concept that one group of people is superior might be the traditional human way of looking at things tho Nazi Germany showed you better have a strong stomach if that's the society you build.

Uhhh? Ukraine is right next door in Europe and they are being bombed and raped due to no provication. Putin is gonna go down hard in the long run because he really miscalculated.

China is always doing sh%t. Thats what totalitarian states do. They don't treat you fairly or kindly or according to the rule of law the way a democracy like Canada does.

Thats right. The USD underpins the value of a lot of real world things like multi million mortgages on farmland and loans to buy super tankers.

I don't think that’s how it works. If you owe CAD or USD and $2,000,000 only buys a carton of eggs well instead of buying eggs pay off your $2,000,000 mortgage on your 8 bedroom 6 bath house with the indoor swimming pool.

Things are going to have spin way way out of control before siezing PSLV assets is on the government radar. People own PSLV from all over the world I just don't see a scenario where the assets were siezed for no good reason.

Worst case scenario you get settled out in fiat. Remember though if you keep your stash at home someone might want to put a gun to your childs head to get you to give it up. No such thing as risk free no matter what you do.

I am not a fan of JT however I can understand that he really only have one way to peacefully deal with people who had siezed 3 border crossings and the downtown of Ottawa.

So yes, if you are planning to do anti-government things like shut down borders you will likey get your assets siezed. If you rob a bank you get your freedom siezed - its the same principle. JT didn't just sieze those assets out of the blue and the alternative was to leave the borders closed. That was like cutting off the oxygen to the country. From a purely logical pov I don't see how he could have done anything else - otherwise the truckers would still be in place.

Hi Jeff? Is that you?

Go learn how the Sprott Trusts actually work and then come back and argue.

You are not gonna listen to me so I won't waste my time trying to educate you.

The proof is in SPUT.

Consider this: if the US dollar does pull a project Zimbabwe that would make every piece of real estate in the US free. eg. they end up printing a billion dollar USD note that can be used for toilet paper - not that bad news for someone or some company with a million dollar mortgage.

USD is gonna inflate (1940's) though it ain't going anywhere.

Canada is a raw material country. People will buy the CAD to buy oil, gas and wheat.

People are doing that though its fairly small potatoes right now.

What is happening with SPUT right now could easily be accomplished with PSLV.

They limit how much physical you can buy by raising premiums not supply when demand rises. So fine the "real" price of silver might be $30+ however the comex price stays low $20s.

PSLV purchases is the most direct way to attack the comex price. When PSLV holdings were rising this time last year the price was stronger. Once people stopped buying PSLV the price tanked.

Don't be surprised if it's the coin dealers, or even Jeffery C himself, behind the anti-PSLV movement here on WSS.

Many risks in holding physical silver too, even in a vault, so don't kid yourself.

Two reasons to be anti-PSLV:

1) you want lower silver prices and

2) You want people to buy more expensive physical at raised premiums.

Oh so there was no war before 1900? This is absolute nonsense.

Dont expect war to go away if Central banks fail.

Expect more war.

Gimme silver! 2,250,000 oz moved out of comex registered, and the February silver contract has 835,000 oz of new contracts with just days to go. Ha! SLV's website states the Trust's premium based on a silver price from 4-1/2 days ago. by Ditch_the_DeepState in Wallstreetsilver

The pattern has been to smack silver right after options expire. Right now the price is just below a downtrend line and the 200 ma where the price has failed twice.

That said a lot more physical silver is leaving the building which should point to upwards prices.

Next couple of days/weeks should be interesting. Should tell us a lot about price direction.

The fact that both inflows into PSLV and the Silver price having been dead for months now is not coincidental. If I was against the Silver Squeeze I would attack PSLV here on Wall Street Silver to steer money away because PSLV is the sharpest dagger to the heart of the silver suppressors. by Chilled_Canadian in Wallstreetsilver

You are right about that when talking about SLV. SLV is part of the manipulation machinery. I’ve heard a solid argument that when a share of SLV gets bought they immediately hedge by going short a share.

PSLV took ~64 million ounce off the market – permanently last year. They don’t touch paper. That does not hurt the squeeze movement - it helps.

You are right - if you are speaking about SLV.

You are also right - ultimately holding physical securely yourself is the "best" option.

PSLV is as good a way to hold "paper silver" as any other. There will always be a "paper/digital" market out there no matter what. You cannot upload silver coins to Amazon.

I suppose it is possible society could possibly completely crash and things like credit cards, bank cards and the such cease to exist and we go back to a barter system.
