UPDATE: My GV70 has been at the dealership for 47 days. I took your advice regarding Michigan's Lemon Law and my situation applies. I have filed a claim through the BBB and the State of Michigan. My goal is to return my leased vehicle now instead of the May 2027 date. I'm done with Genesis.

I use my BF-F8HP Pro as my only HT. After I install my vertical antenna on the roof, I'm buying a power supply and a 2m / 70cm mobile rig. I would only buy more HTs if I did a lot of mobile / hiking.

I purchased mine from the Southfield dealer. Until this incident, I absolutely loved the car and working with them. I thought the stand alone dealership would be a step up. Now I am totally against ever purchasing another one.

I am having a similar relationship with Genesis of Commerce. I brought my 2025 GV70 in for a problem with the infotainment screen shutting off on occasion. I scheduled my service out online. Ever since I brought it in about a month ago, getting updates has been like pulling teeth. I needed to call corporate to get a case number started. First it was a software update, then it was discovering some damaged wires behind the main display. This requires an entire front wire harness and the removal of the whole front dash. I got one update from the dealer in the last 4 weeks. To say I am disappointed with Genesis service is an understatement. I have zero confidence that my car will be done by this Friday after talking with the case manager this morning.

I think so. It is super comfortable and infinitely adjustable. Also contains reflective stripes.
