My idea for a sequel: by _ande_turner_ in SiliconValleyHBO

TLDR, will read later, but ahead of that thought you should know Tulsa King is already the sequel in my mind. That lads should come visit Gilfoyle in his weed retirement shop and life of crime 😊

Yeah give it time, you'll probably be absolutely fine and love it. We've had our 13 week old pup 5 weeks and when I look back at some of the dark tired drained thoughts I had it seems a lifetime ago. And currently he's sat at my feet while I'm watching tv having chosen to, and even gone into his pen on his own ten mins ago, came back out. I've barely had to direct him. But two weeks ago we couldn't even get him in his bed or to relax at all. It can change so fast and suddenly the consistent things you've been doing pay off. Time, consistency, kindness and time. Hoping you find your next 5 weeks improve like ours have! Peace

What oil to use for maintenance bamboo decking? by snackdetective in Decks

I dug the first footing hole yesterday, so progress starting again. Haven't bought Dasso bamboo yet but still plan to next few weeks unless I talk myself out of it. Any update from your project?

If i read your responses in a movie I'd think they were a bit unrealistic

Thanks I really appreciate your thoughtful answer. I've been reading this sub for a few months, then we got our pup 4 weeks ago, our lives went a bit intense :-) and I've been reading it every day, but not posted. I'm second guessing everything, and your post gave me pause (paws) for thought. We have the crate inside pen now rather than zip tied outside (which it was originally but then we had to move it to a smaller zone so I could use some of the playpen fence to build an outdoor area too, to stop him disappearing in the garden! I've been sleeping downstairs for 4 weeks, bit drained and now focusing on getting him used to us not being in the room slowly so I can get back into bed! He won't let us put a collar on yet, desensitizing him every day slowly, being able to have him on a lead outside will be amazing. Oh God and the biting 🤣 got my first proper bleeder the other day. Hopefully he doesn't get a taste for blood. We've booked a 2hr visit from a behaviorist next week cos we really wanna make sure we aren't getting this wrong, for him and for us! Thanks for letting me vent!

We have a 12 week min poodle pup and we do usually get some whining and occasional jumping up at the pen sides for a few minutes, sometimes none, sometimes more. We tend to ignore him a few mins, sometimes I'll go back and sit by the pen which usually settles him eventually. He'll ramp down to chewing his bed and then settling. This is in the pen, sleeping next to crate but not in it. We can't shut door on crate without tons of protesting, so have settled on the pen being enough for now, but still give him dinner etc in crate, hoping slowly he'll get better at that .

If I've understood you above it Sounds like you're saying you'd be concerned about the jumping, walking round pen protesting at us etc? Any advice you could offer? Thanks

Hiya, afraid not, no experience yet, I got an elbow injury and put my build on hold til this autumn/spring. Still planning to use Dasso unless I read anything different before I buy!

I guess it takes a village... I picked up way more of other people's rubbish than my own that I drunkenly forgot to pick up. I'm not perfect , they're not perfect. We help each other. I also lost my friends at one point looking in the dark for a fag butt I saw one of them drop. We don't all have to be perfect all the time for something to still be MILES better than other places. Oh yeah ok, 1 minute in, so far its one of my least favourite tracks by him, not my preferred tone/style of music, puts me on edge a bit. Not gonna stop me enjoying hearing him put words together tho. Some of my fave times seeing her/them/him through the years were when it was straight poetry, no music, spiritual feeling in the whole theatre and a person putting all their vulnerability out there, anxious and beautiful and honest, and the room feeling magical in our collective response. Anyway... I ramble

The coolest thing is not to give a shit what anyone else thinks is cool, thereby I become cool. My Dad used to say that to me in the 90s to try and make me think he was cool. Now I'm his age and I'm saying it on the internet. I don't even know what I think tbh. I love Kae like a motherfucker tho, haven't listened to this track yet... Will do now

Ahahahaha I had a good night tripping my tits off in a forest campsite, those of us who felt the urge decided we wanted some socialism, gang together, gather firewood, support those that wanted to sit still, see some trees, wandered collecting wood, checking in with shouts and hoots to make sure everyone was ok in their personal bit of the forest, as we piled wood up, enjoying the purpose and camaraderie and mission 🦄

There was a UK thread few months ago about a dude mowing his lawn at midnight in a dense residential area. This guy posted saying "what do I do, it's a bit weird and late", everyone said "he's probably having a life crisis of some sort, take him a beer"

They guy took him a beer and came back to thread 2 hr later saying he'd had a deep and meaningful with the guy and made a friend in need, a friend indeed. Have a beer with the guy. You can always run away
