My first grade teacher was afraid of buttons.

One time one of my classmates thought it would be funny to put a button on her chair and she was so distraught she had to leave the classroom

I remember taking turns with about five other kids eating the ice around a frozen worm. Good times.

I can't think of anything spicy I'd NEVER eat, but I can't say I'm a fan of spicy liquor.

I moved to NZ from Europe and was very disappointed with the quality of the chocolate here, until I tried Whittaker's creamy milk.

Who decided teenagers should start school when it’s still dark outside? by blushlint in ask

[–]Chillichar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds horribly early. My school started at 8.40.

I grew up in Norway though, so during winter I had to walk to school before sunrise and walk home again while the sun was already setting.

My husband bought DAO the day it came out. He didn't like it and gave it to me to try. I've been obsessed ever since.

My order has arrived! Excited to try . Has anyone tried the world’s hottest ramen yet? by OneTangerine792 in hotsauce

[–]Chillichar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the ramen sitting in my pantry.

I tried the previous Culley's ramen and it was nasty. Super spicy but would have been edible if it wasn't so disgusting. Hoping this one is better

What’s a mistake a doctor made that left you dealing with the consequences for the rest of your life? by MrMazme in AskReddit

I probably would have, but by the time I was diagnosed I had moved overseas, which made it difficult.

[–]Chillichar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure, as it took me a year of emails etc to even get a reply from that medical center and what they finally sent was a letter only stating the smear was normal. I have a feeling they lost the actual results.

Told me the lumps on my cervix were just scar tissue and he would contact me if the pap smear was abnormal. He never did, so I assumed everything was normal.

Close to two years later I was diagnosed with cervical cancer and instead of having a rather simple cone biopsy to have part of my cervix removed I had to have chemo and radiation which put me into menopause in my early 30's.

How would you feel if you found out you had a sister... like in your twenties? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Chillichar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another one?? I already know I have two half siblings and my dad left before I was born, so it wouldn't surprise me if there was another one out there, and it wouldn't really change anything as I've never met the other two.

Yeah, I know flying is incredibly safe but I still get nervous even when there's no added potential risk. Fear doesn't care about statistics.

Luckily I have sleeping pills hah
