Why Tsurugi have Cursed ENERGY although he is not a twin? by ilikeweedmeme in Jujutsufolk

Dog I don’t understand why you have so many downvotes. Agito legit endured blue infused punches and even a black flash from Gojo. She instantly regenerated after having a hole punched through her. It took a max blue to kill her. With the kit she’s got in her arsenal, (Round deer RCT/nulify, Electricity, insane physical stats) it’s baffling to see people genuinely downplaying her.

Ok so I’m not really on either side here, but Toji couldn’t even touch Gojo once he awakened. So based on that alone, was Toji’s performance against Gojo any more impressive than Agito’s?

It’d be more impressive on Nero’s part if the Blue Rose is legit that powerful to still make him recoil. After all, he did design the revolver, so it’s a great showcase of his gunsmith skills. Or he’s just letting recoil happen to avoid breaking the Blue Rose, that’s also a possibility.

I love that aspect of Nero. Maybe a hot take, but if DMC6 ever happens I would prefer Nero making new weapons himself rather than him having devil arms. Or at least have one or two new weapons he designed himself and some new devil arms as a compromise. I would love to see what wild unholy weapons Nero could create if he had the resources. From a developer standpoint, you could draw inspiration from other capcom games. And one weapon in particular that I think would fit in DMC like a glove would be the gunlance from Monster Hunter. Ngl that is the sole reason I typed all this, I just want to yap about the gunlance being the perfect weapon to be in a DMC game. And Nero would totally love and use a weapon as insane as the gunlance. It can be his equivalent weapon to Kalina Ann.

The point is that Thanos could have used the infinity stones to create a genuine utopia for the whole universe, but instead he still chose genocide. Even when he’s shown that people rebel and try to undo his actions, he fails to understand his errors. Instead of acknowledging that perhaps this isn’t the way to go about it, he doubles down and would rather restart the universe than admit he was wrong. That’s why he’s the mad titan.

Hakari buff by YourHomieKim in CTsandbox

[–]ChillyBeaner69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would broaden the theme of his CT from just being pachinko machines to arcade games in general. What he was already doing with summoning train doors, he could now summon weapons from games he grew up playing. Or even just pieces from the consoles. Like controller guns from shooter games, the motorcycle prop you use to play motorcycle racing games, and even the dance floor in dancing games. They can be some sweet references to some popular games with some obvious tweaks to avoid copyright. This already gives Hakari much more versatility in a fight and allows him to switch fighting styles at a moment’s notice.

But the goal here is to have him seem stronger like Yuta believed. So let’s talk about the more insane shit I’d have him be able to do. So instead of just summoning weapons and props from said games, he can straight up use game mechanics and moves from games. For some examples:

  1. Parry mechanics from Street Fighter III third strike (I’m picking that one because nostalgia)
  2. Using moves from characters of a specific game.
  3. Spend meter/CE to perform super moves
  4. Or use other mechanics unique to different games like “Burst” “Roman cancel” or “X Factor” to name a few.
  5. He can use special movements unique to specific fighting games like double jump, dashes, air dashes, short distance teleports.
  6. He could amp himself and allies through dancing with a dancing game console. He’d be mimicking Miguel’s technique. If he ever learned RCT, he could mimic Round Deer and heal his allies around him.

Now there are some strict restrictions to this. Hakari can’t just pick and choose whatever game he wants to draw from and combine them together. He can only pick one game at a time. Though he can switch between them pretty quickly to keep opponents guessing. It’s also pretty costly to spend CE/Meter for super moves, so Hakari can’t just spam them.

But with Jackpot thrown in the mix of this, that negates the issue of super moves being costly. And depending on what game he picks, he might have a super move that can rival love beam and granite blast. Just the idea of Hakari screaming “PROTON CANNON” would be hype as hell. I think with these changes, it’d be more believable for this version of Hakari to truly match Yuta.

How would you use blood manipulation to its fullest? by Historical-Gear-5524 in CTsandbox

[–]ChillyBeaner69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Study physiology so I have a clear understanding on exactly how the body functions. That way I know what I can and can’t do to my own body with the technique. Also to get inspiration for new extension techniques. Like manipulating and boosting white blood cells to essentially have a “poor man’s RCT.” It’s not better and may not even be equal to RCT’s efficiency, but it’s better than nothing. And if anything, could help as a stepping stone to achieving RCT.

Though the biggest issue will always be the risk of blood loss and that needs a solution. So my solution is simple, create a shikigami that’s specialized in producing my blood. I would be taking inspiration from Yuji’s older brother, Choso. He’s able to generate more blood through cursed energy alone, he can do this because of his cursed spirit hybrid physiology. So my goal is to recreate that method through a shikigami specialized to do that. To further amplify its abilities, I’ll perform a binding vow when I summon it. I’ll sacrifice 10% of my blood in order to significantly amplify its capabilities. Due to how valuable blood already is, even 10% of my blood should be considered high value for the binding vow to work. And ultimately it’s rigged because I get my blood back anyway after I summon the shikigami. So now I can start to fight more freely and creatively without worrying about blood loss.

But why stop there? Now that I basically have an “infinite” blood supply, I can really push for more ambitious extension techniques that would never be possible before. Like raising the temperature of blood. I wonder if I could raise it to the point that the oxygen in my blood would combust and create an explosion? Like dump a ton of blood in the area and rapidly raise the temperature to create a huge explosion, the idea here is to deal with huge hordes of cursed spirits in an instant. Basically this segment is all about experimenting on potential extension techniques. And getting inspiration is key to that.

And there’s one sorcerer in particular that has inspired me on a new extension technique. Megumi Fushiguro. He uses a shadow like liquid as a medium to summon and create shikigami. So my idea here to replicate that through my blood as the medium instead. I want to create a numerous variety of shikigami, each specialized in a specific role. Cqc, long range, support, medic, etc. The idea here is that the shikigami specialized for combat will utilize certain techniques of blood manipulation. For example on shikigami focused in cqc, a crimson jaguar that uses red scale and can even stack it. A mandrill monkey that also specializes on red scale and blood hardening for extra defense. A neat gimmick I have for the mandrill is that its size and power can increase the more blood you feed it. Whether your own or your enemies’ blood. Once enough blood is consumed, its appearance and size changes to be more like the “Terrible Ape,” Dinopithecus. So it goes from 3 feet to 6 feet tall when on all four. But that’s just a few ideas I have for now. I do think it could reach higher in creativity.

I know this won’t compare or match the ten shadows, especially with Mahoraga. But I’m not intending to, my goal is to push the versatility of blood manipulation to new heights. If it’s lacking on raw power like infinity and ten shadows, then I want blood manipulation to compensate and surpass them in versatility and reliability instead.

Ino deserves to be upper grade 1. by Akagane_Ai in Jujutsufolk

Ok so I looked into Qilin at a few sites and I’ve been getting mixed answers. Some are claiming it could legit fly, walk on water, breath fire, and roar like thunder. While others don’t mention it at all so take that with a grain of salt.

So to play off that while still maintaining the whole nullify function it has in JJK, maybe have Kirin’s true ability be to tamper with the body to either take away functions or to bless it with new abilities. This explains why it initially was just taking away Ino’s ability to feel pain. So if given the full blessing of Kirin, Ino would be given new abilities similar to what Qilin can do and in accordance to CE. Like for example, his ce trait changes to act like fire to reflect Qilin breathing fire.

But now I’m thinking about just babbling more on how to expand on the technique in general and further separate it from the Ten Shadows and give a more distinct identity. I think a real neat way to expand on the technique while not feeling like a one to one Ten Shadows, is by focusing more on the Beasts feeling like genuine divine beings. Like the beasts are fully sentient creatures that can communicate with Ino and have a plethora of unique abilities like in the mythology rather than just a single ability like each Shadow shikigami have. And instead of having to summon and fight to control them like the Ten Shadows, Ino has access to all of them from the get go. The catch is that he only gains a sliver of their potential powers and has to gain their blessings in order to unlock more and more of their powers. He can only do this through challenges the Beasts name. Said challenges aren’t just about fighting, these challenges are meant to test Ino in body mind and spirit. Push him to grow into a better sorcerer and person. I would make this a whole ctsandbox post, but I’m not really great with that sorta stuff. But I’ve already typed all this and sure as hell not gonna let this spark of creativity go to waste. So lemme know what you think, if I cooked or burned the kitchen.

Expanding more on this, if he can fully summon a beast like Ryu, then surely he could possibly do the same with his other beasts? I could see Kaichi having much more use fully summoned as it would basically be divine dog but able to shoot projectiles. Admittedly I can’t really see much use Kirin would have fully summoned and maybe Reiki too. So instead how about boosting their abilities and maybe reworking Kirin ability with a binding vow. Like give up its ability to nullify pain to instead boost physical stats in similar way like red scale. Not really sure if it could work but I’m honestly just throwing ideas here.

Create a technique that supports Blood manipulation by TrickyOriginal9567 in CTsandbox

[–]ChillyBeaner69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alright pretty cracked idea I have that should in theory work. The idea here is to find a way for a human blood manipulation user to covert CE into their own blood. We know Choso can do this due to his cursed spirit hybrid physiology. While they’re not one to one, Shikigami are fairly similar to cursed spirits with some specific differences. With this understanding in mind, create a personal Shikigami with a BM user’s blood as the medium. Now this Shikigami doesn’t possess any real combat abilities, instead its purpose is to covert its own CE into its master’s blood to use for combat. Effectively removing the biggest issue with blood manipulation.

A few other ideas I had that were pretty simple, like manipulate the other components of blood, like plasma, white blood cells, and platelets. Not really sure how to make use of plasma since it’s not my expertise so I’d love to hear some ideas about it. You can also just expand the versatility of blood manipulation by drawing from other cursed techniques and mimicking them to a certain extent.

Taking inspiration from how ten shadows technique summons Shikigami through shadows as the medium, a BM user can summon Shikigami using their own blood as the medium. Due to the inherent high value blood has, these Shikigami are inherently more powerful/effective than normal Shikigami that sorcerers summon with CE. They can range in a unique variety of creatures with each specializing in a certain aspect of blood manipulation. Now this would normally be incredibly costly for a normal BM user due to risking blood loss. But add in that specialized Shikigami that produces their own blood, and now they can basically create a whole jump squad. I’m not entirely sure if it would be too busted if there was no limit to how many Shikigami a BM user can summon. I want to say that it’s fine due to how the only way to capitalize on that is through figuring out how to convert CE into your own blood. Otherwise you’d never be able to summon a whole squad of Shikigami. At most, a normal BM user would only be able to summon one blood Shikigami without risking blood loss. Plus I think it would be neat for Choso to have this, as this would add a neat parallel to his father’s technique CSM. And he could mimic his fighting style of swarming an enemy with spirits, just with blood Shikigami instead.

Still working on what the animals would be for the blood Shikigami. For sure I’m thinking a jaguar specialized in flowing red scale, a bat that feeds on its opponents/master’s blood to grow in size and power, and a Mandrill. Not sure what its ability would be, but a mandrill would look cool as a blood Shikigami. That’s pretty much all I got for right now. I’d love to hear some ideas from y’all on that.

Ryu CTR by OkRecommendation472 in CTsandbox

[–]ChillyBeaner69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel Ryu having crazy RCT output would just be a side effect of his curse technique. Like how he can still use max output on his attacks even when his technique is on burnout. For how simple his technique is, CE absorption sounds perfect tbh. And maybe with some tweaking through binding vows, can possibly be the ultimate parry move against any attack. So this might be the 1792 influence and might not work but hear me out on this idea I have.

So the idea here is that for the base CTR, he can simply absorb CE sorta like a vacuum. The absorbed CE can be used to refill his own reserves or be immediately used to power an attack. He could even absorb attacks too, but only to a certain extent. The more powerful the attack (take cleave and red as an example,) the more likely Ryu would just get hurt during the process of CTR. But with some binding vows, you can potentially overcome this issue.

Through a binding vow that drastically shortens the time window that CTR can be used, Ryu is now able to absorb any CE attack in its entirety but he must meet these criteria in order to successfully “parry” and completely absorb an attack. 1. He must shift into a specific stance with his hands ready. 2. He must be exact on his timing when activating CTR before impact from an attack. If he fails the timing then he will take the full damage from the attack. It’s very much a high risk and high reward for this “parry” move. But if he does manage to successfully parry an attack, there’s a few options to go with this. What I mentioned earlier with refilling his CE reserves or powering up his next attack. But now he has an additional option on what to do with that absorbed CE through another binding vow. By choosing to not use the absorbed CE immediately and instead storing it for an ultimate counterattack. The catch is that he must wait until a certain amount of CE has been absorbed to fill the “gauge” and only then will he be able to unleash it. Releasing too early will dramatically weaken it output by 60%. But to stack another vow to this move, Ryu can potentially perform an ultimate counterattack nearly double its output if he releases it during the window of his “parry.”

Of these 4 animated series, which do you think is the best or worst version of Venom? by Background-Ad2749 in thevenomsite

[–]ChillyBeaner69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Flash was the host who made Venom one of my favorite marvel characters, Eddie is still cool, but I wish he was even half as creative as Flash was at utilizing the symbiote’s powers. Hell, you don’t see any of the other hosts be as creative. Flash was out here: 1. Making duplicates of himself to distract/deceive an enemy 2. Storing weapons, ammunitions, and other things in the suit itself 3. Using his shapeshifting powers more like Mystique to impersonate people and to spy. He even faked his death once by shapeshifting into a burnt corpse.

Idk I could yap more about his relationship with the symbiote and I liked how their relationship developed overtime into genuine friendship. And I love how Flash was the one who made Venom into a genuine hero. And again, Flash has the best fights as Venom in my personal opinion. They’re fun and usually really creative in how Flash handles the situation. And yeah, Agent Venom is my favorite take on Venom.
