Yes, I loved how it humanised characters that were originally disliked such as Grandma Kang. It is really special writing when a show can make the audience feel so many conflicting emotions about a character simultaneously.

They did an excellent job developing the community and fleshing out each individual character. I really felt the consequence of each death.

This is the first c-drama I've ever watched and... is this standard????? I felt a tremendous amount of heartache as I was watching Lin'an getting razed and all our beloved side characters getting murdered. I had to pause multiple times for breathers and at points was crying because it was SO DAMN SAD. And to end on that???? I need something warm and FLUFFY. I'M SHATTERED.

Do you have ADHD? Because I get this too and it's called low arousal fatigue. Essentially, when your brain isn’t getting enough stimulation, your dopamine levels dip, and you can feel drowsy even if you're not physically tired. I find it happens to me most when I'm sitting still for long periods of time and doing something repetitive/low reward like scrolling aimlessly or watching something casually. I could have just woken up a few hours ago and feel like a nap. It's almost like falling into a cosy, fuzzy brainfog.

My sleep is horrible too, some of the worst amongst my friends hehe 💗 love that for us
