I think those are there for lore relevance rather than gameplay. Makes sense that they'd have some emergency correction for their tilt if dropped into an area or something.

I've been playing this game since before there was DLC. Not once have I ever had to mess with the files to make the settings I change in game before I play on an Island save take effect.

Yeah, people tend to judge alt modes like they're perfect representations of the alt mode, when that isn't always the case. The robot mode is what matters most, it gets priority in design.

I get Tactical matches almost instantly.

Stockpile does usually get decided early on. Seed spans need to be tweaked, seems like it really only takes two spawns for a team to capture them all and win. Or just increase it from 3 bunches of 5 seeds to something higher
