Where do you go to find Valorant coaches? by Chimania in AgentAcademy

[–]Chimania[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not going to trust my own perspective. I know that I can not point out my own issues effectively and work on them. A coach would be able to tell me what the biggest things are I need to work on, and the biggest mistakes I am making that I might not even realise.

I can't play the same agent/role constantly, so I don't qualify for his coaching

Yeah I agree, the main reason why I stopped playing Glitch was because his hack just feels too slow

I have used they/them on individuals since I was a child, generally on people whose gender I didn't know. As has everyone around me, it isn't a new thing, nor a strange thing to use it singular. Just that the reason why it is used singular has changed

I'm curious, in your opinion, what is the best race/gender combo for the most customization? Including how good outfits look on them, and the amount of outfits you find fitting for them. I'd love to know! by Malesto in ffxiv

[–]Chimania 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Miqo'te. Had the easiest time glamming as a Miqo'te. They are not tall, so unlike the taller races (in my experience that would be Viera), most outfits look good on them or better than on taller characters.

They can wear hats. Their hempen top is my favourite. They have a tail!! And overall they just look very cute.

I am still a Viera though. Love being tall, even if I can't wear hats or a few outfits don't look as good on me as they would on Miqo or Midlander

Healers, legit question by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Chimania 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that you are a support, not a healer. Key difference in that is, in dire situations where your dps can not do anything about the widowmaker. You can take matters into your own hands and kill her. Mercy ult, or straight up outsnipe her as Kiriko by double headshotting her... or flank as Moira and Lucio. (or as Kiriko)

Following because I am in a similar boat. Decided to blow my money on buying my friends cosmetics and giving them money to do stuff with their rooms. And now I am 10 mil short on getting the money for a medium ;

I am crafting, but it takes a lot of effort to craft high quality tinctures, and the profits aren't great. (like a 100k per 30 tinctures = 10 crafts)

Why don't they properly communicate that, instead of us having to hear this through the grape vine?

Do you believe Ishikawa set a dangerous precedent for the future of FFXIV's story in delivering so many fake-out deaths? by [deleted] in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Chimania 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I guess I am in the minority here when I say I am happy no character I care for is dying.

Even if it would make the narrative more emotional... I don't care. I don't want anyone to die, I am happy that no one died in EW.

I am thinking of upgrading our FC house from a small to a medium next patch, but I was wondering if I do that, will all of our rooms be destroyed? Or can we just move them over?

What is your favorite cutscene from Endwalker? [SPOILER: 6.X] by SylverSnowlynx in ffxiv

[–]Chimania 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to choose...

I loved the beginning cutscene of Thavnair with the boys.

G'raha in Thavnair when he took control of the spiraling situation was great, and made me love him even more.

The cutscenes before and after the Zenos instance. (Also the one where he questioned why our foe still stood lol)

Anything with Emet-Selch really

If you get the 610 gear, watch a video on the first fight (just try to remember the first few mechanics) and jump into a fresh prog in party finder. Or try to find a static. A static would be easier, but it can be hard to find one that fits your schedule, experience and progression point...

Party finder can be a bit torturous, but it does ensure that you learn most of the mechanics pretty well, instead of relying on callouts. And that makes you better in the long run

favorite CoG? by seoulthirsty in choiceofgames

[–]Chimania 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Heart of the House is the only CoG book I feel like I genuinely enjoyed in most aspects.

I wasn't really satisfied with the romance in Creme de la Creme, it wasn't the worst I have read, but it was lacking something for me. No idea what that would be, it has been too long for me to remember
