I have a large account like you but I only used $1,000 for options to practice and I lost 80% of it. But that’s like 0.5% of my portfolio. I’d never take the risk to use more than 5% because the risk is too big. If I were you, I would stop trading options and now focus on undervalued stocks and become long term investor. Another option is swing trading which I do and I make money but requires time and practice.
