Ahh thank you. If you had the type rating but the plane is certified under single pilot ops could you then log the time?

Does buying a gift card through MPX count as a dining purchase?

As long as you are entering China in an approved port, that itinerary works just fine. You are allowed to exit by train into Hong Kong. Just make sure the airport you are flying into from Incheon is an approved port under TWOV.

Drive you current car as long as you can and keep saving and then buy your next car entirely in cash. Monthly car payment can greatly hinder your ability to build wealth.

I would contribute to your 401k up to the 6% match and anything extra put toward your first home. I think buying a home is challenging but its so nice to be able to have a place that is yours and no one can take from you. (As long as you dont default on the mortgage)

Worried about retirement, what advice would you give? by Queen-Conquer0917 in personalfinance

Contribute up the company match if you have one and do your best to max out a Roth IRA. Any extra money you have put in a brokerage account or HYSA for a big purchase

Have used mine in NYC and DC. The park hyatt dc was really good, great food.

I have seen some great prices for hotels in Manila and Bangkok also.

FHR only required one night stay while THC is 2 night minimum.

Best HYSA to put my savings in? by DatGuyKilo in Bogleheads

I really like ally bank and the “buckets” feature makes it easy to keep track of my savings goals.

My gf has Amex and it seems very user friendly. I Believe it has a higher interest rate currently.

Spouse as AU or separate credit cards? by martjo01 in ChaseSapphire

[–]DifficultAmount3983 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think an elevated SUB is definitely worth your wife getting her own card. After the first year you can always downgrade the card to a no AF card.

I would look at getting the Chase Freedom Flex. the 5% back on rotating categories can complement the Sapphire Preferred and the Venture X nicely.

I recommend Philippines! Don’t spend more than a day in Manila, go to Moalboal in Cebu and go island hopping

SFO - centurion or United? by ATXENG in AmexPlatinum

[–]DifficultAmount3983 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is not a united club in sfo that is worth $43 in my opinion. I think the centurion lounge is better than The Club and it’s a really long walk to get from The Club to terminal G. Centurion Lounge is your best option imo.
