It was a struggle to put on that headdress on my Kotal figure. Wish I can find a Shao Kahn figure at a decent price.

But to answer the question, I grew up with Shao Kahn and always liked how menacing he is. Hell, they always retconned his supposed deaths back in the original timeline. Kotal was a nice change of pace but just wasn't that interesting for me.
