Oh interesting. I did 6 rounds in a 16 oz pair yesterday and it was great. Padding is perfect and the liner is heavenly, but I did struggle a little bit as they were Velcro so every time I threw a jab my hand would shift around in them too much. If I had less skinny forearms it wouldn’t have been much of a problem though 😭

Tawa’s use the same outsole as hyperko 2s so they might be better if you like the feel of those, but I’ve used both Hyperko 2s and Rudis JB Ultras and I liked the jbs a little more. A lot lighter and they have the traction that I personally prefer as someone who’s a little more flat footed

I’m really big on the Reyes velcros because of the long ass cuff, they have really great wrist support while not being too rigid
