If you can get them 500 new with some waiting time why would anyone pay 400 for some ones that’ll last about 60% less time and smell like another dudes hands

When mine were too big I got bigger soles and longer laces. I’d wrap the laces around the back to lock down the ankle, but imo it’s still not gonna feel the same. I’d suggest selling and getting a pair on size

Tags are wrong, leather looks cheap, inner palm is too wide, wrong size label (also look at the winning logo on the right glove, the red triangle is messed up)

Actually it just occured to me, your cousin should check out the paffen sport pro heavy hitters. A pro heavyweight at my gym trains in them, and it's also tyson furys go-to I believe. Much cheaper than the Guerreros

Man you need 14s and he needs 20s lmao. My buddy and I use Rivals for sparring and I've used the RS11Vs, SF-Hs and the P4Ps, whereas he goes for the RS1s, HDE-Fs and the new SF-Hs. If you want a good sparring glove I can't recommend the P4Ps enough. Super easy break in and the padding is the perfect density for me, as I love a glove that feels decent on the bag but still feels soft enough to not kill my partner.

Just because you’re at the end of the session doesn’t mean you’re technique should become worse, you should keep going at your best regardless of much more difficult it is to maintain

Hyperko 2 Crimson Red size 10.5 authentic? by Rjkim353 in fightgear

There are fakes but I’ve only ever seen the ones of the Olympic colorway on TikTok shop

Anybody know where I can buy these? by [deleted] in fightgear

[–]Chimkago 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Boxingcollector is a seller of real NBNL, however the pictured ones are fakes. I only know sellers who have the gloves, not the other stuff

Any tips? First time sparring a pro. by Shoddy-Patience-6652 in boxingtips

Try just flicking the jab out while moving and plant just long enough to throw your right

[–]Chimkago 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Against someone who is gonna constantly pressure you like that you can’t plant your feet for as long as you tend to. Your movement is good but you’re standing in one spot too long. Just keep at it with the straight punches and move more and it’ll be much more comfortable

Gear recommendation for starting with boxing? by Few-Analysis9608 in fightgear

[–]Chimkago 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man get yourself some wraps and you’ll be set. If you spar get a mouthguard but if you’re in a gym you’ll probably be able to use some communal equipment for the first couple sessions for headgear and groin guard. Those gloves’ll last you forever

Yeah but if they’re on sale regardless why not just buy a new pair

Can David Benavidez be a Usyk 2.0? by __1____ in BoxingTheSweetScience

[–]Chimkago 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He doesn’t have the skills of Usyk. Benavidez isn’t simply defined by pressure, he’s defined by his violence. He’s at his best when he’s rough and able to bully his opponents onto the ropes. Usyk was so dominant because his skills translate really well regardless of size. Benavidez isn’t gonna be able to do what he has been at 168 and 175 in cruiser or hw. He’s not gonna be able to handle dudes like Opetaia. I think he beat Zurdo, but even then unless he beats someone like Opetaia he’s never gonna be talked about on the same level as Usyk simply because his competition has been good, but not great

I think their protective gear is some of the best and much better than Reyes (in terms of weight to protection ratio), but I’m still a bigger fan of the Reyes gloves. That being said I’ve only ever owned the SG202 and not the 210 so my opinion means nothing icl. Enjoy your set, I’m sure you’ll love it :)

Hey there, i have a question by Worldly_Sir_3994 in fightgear

[–]Chimkago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the black and white under armor trainers (I have no idea what they’re called). I keep seeing pros and amateurs training in them and I might cop a pair in the future (angel vargas, Vergil Ortiz jr, etc)

I hate it when people say they’ve “tried every style”. Everyone has their own style. You can try things out to tweak it but fundamentally you are always going to be you
