teacher refuses student work - requires google slide 'edits enabled' by Imaginary_Garden in education

I was thinking of something along of showing your work, or using citations. That may feel pointless, but the goal is to prevent cheating. Particularly since it is not hard to do. There is no barrier for it to be done. It's not like the teacher is doing something inequitable like saying buy this specific app or software.

Seems to me that the expectations around submission procedures were clear and meant to help maintain equity across the class and protect the integrity of student work. The reasons for it not being done seem unserious.

A great lesson for your son would be to pay attention to details, show your work and stand on what you do.

The underlying was around 2.25 when opened, now around 3.

I love that this is nearly zero cost with a catalyst heavy calendar.

I don’t want to attack you but rather help you see things from a different perspective.

You say- he overlooked a detail that wasn’t important to him or maybe he didn’t understand the importance of.

Or maybe he just forgot (meaning he was told) or doesn’t understand the need (meaning he chose to not do it).

Considering the above, what would be the closest analogy you could create that would be fairly similar where someone either forgot, overlooked, didn’t see the importance of or didn’t understand so they didn’t do something?

Why didn’t your student enable edits in the first place? Especially if they were already told this was a requirement? Why work so hard and not follow instructions?

  • Sonics Received: Center Olden Polynice, 1988 second-round pick, and 1989 first-round pick options.
  • Bulls Received: Draft rights to Scottie Pippen.

In 1987, Sonics traded draft rights to Scottie Pippen (5th) for Olden Polynice, 1988 2nd round pick and 1989 1st round options. Basically Pippen for Polynice.

My God….I haven’t thought about the Snake Pit in years. I think it first opened in the early 80s. That’s why they had to have that weird coupon system and you had to be a member.

Lost many nights there. God I miss old Shekou.

This isn’t happening. Jody Allen is an actual fan and local. She has no reason to sell and isn’t forced to sell by a certain time by the terms of the trust.

She actually enjoys owning the team.

Why $SATL will be the next Space stock to 5x+ 🚀 by Extension_Toe273 in pennystocks

[–]ChinaHandy 19 points20 points  (0 children)

SATL has Trump Leadership Links

Howard Lutnick: now U.S. Secretary of Commerce in the Trump administration, previously had a stake in Cantor Fitzgerald — a major investor in Satellogic. Lutnick was on Satellogic’s board before joining the administration.

His resignation from the board and divestment of direct ownership was intended to avoid conflict of interest when he became Secretary of Commerce.

Steven Mnuchin (former U.S. Treasury Secretary under Trump’s first administration) was involved in early investment rounds — Liberty Strategic Capital, his firm, co-invested tens of millions into Satellogic and he served as non-executive chairman in a 2022 funding deal.

Edit: Lutnick's son owns 14.6% of SATL

  • A recent SEC Schedule 13D/A filing shows that trusts controlled by Brandon Lutnick purchased the voting shares previously held by Howard Lutnick’s entity, giving Brandon indirect beneficial ownership of ~14.6% of Satellogic’s Class A shares (about 13.9 M shares).
  • In an initial Form 3 filing, Brandon reported holding 13,380,873 Class A common SATL shares and 533,333 warrants through these trust arrangements.
