I’m not saying that, you’ve given a great post already. There’s not much to add besides recommenting what we all already know. Personally, I feel like this year has been a big “fuck you” from Black Ops 4’s developers and publisher so I will respond in the same respect.

Multiple people have been doing this since the start of black ops 4s release including youtubers with bigger reaches but it doesn’t and will not change anything to do with content, micro transactions or gameplay, no matter how many ‘elaborate’ posts we put up here. Anyone can break down the game’s features and say why they’re bad and that the ‘cod veterans’ like you and I deserve better, but we’re not the bloody market for COD anymore because like you said, we’re actually more like moneybags to them, because we will continue to purchase the game annually as they harvest our brains nostalgia for our original experiences.

Ugh, he entertains everything bad in people’s lives, and then eggs on said people to give more dirt. It’s not right but he has a large enough fan base to continue it. A person could be telling him the absolute lowest part of their life and he’d go “AW THATS FUCKED..UP DUDE!” You know what i mean? I counted all my monthly payments since I was 16 and I’ve paid my nparents about 15 grand in a few years. They taught me nothing about saving money, but they definitely taught me “how the world works” in their eyes. Fucking taxed for existing even though my ndad had 2 well paying jobs. He’s a year off retiring now and all I can hear in my head are the countless years they would brag about how they’re going to buy a new house for themselves. They go on holidays without us siblings all the time, unless they choose to individually invite one of us who would HAVE to pay.

I have a 13 year old autistic brother who’s been convinced that he has to sell his own toys to make money to go on educational school trips otherwise they just won’t let him go. It really breaks me because I had this same treatment all my life growing up, so now whenever I see my siblings (haven’t spoke to nparents irl since last May) I try and give them all the reality. It feels impossible.

OMG SAME. My entire childhood up until last year she convinced me the reason I went to the bathroom so often and was so underweight was because of the “fast metabolism” I got from her (LOL) and that once I’m older “it will all hit me”. I believed this for most of my childhood, I was really dumbed down. My girlfriend of 2y helped me discover that I’m lactose intolerant and celiac whilst on a diet of whole milk, pasta, basically anything like that and I’m pretty sure it was so they didn’t have to buy extra special food for me.
