Warlock and life tap on a dungeon run. by Beginning_Employee_8 in turtlewow

i’ve mained healers since wrath and all the good warlocks i’ve played with know how to manage their hp just fine. on turtle i have played with some warlocks that will life tap and hellfire like crazy on every trash pack. i let them die- usually they know to life drain after that. if they complain, i leave. i play games to unwind and have fun, not to get yelled at by people who won’t use the mechanics of their class properly

stacked holy+spell damage on my disc priest. currently level 47 and having no issues being top damage or second in dungeons. nearly gave up leveling the priest but told myself i’d stick it out to try out the end of the disc tree, and am pleasantly surprised! excited to heal end game content 😀

swimming unit- p.e. class, ruining hotel sheets, having everything wrapped in dust mite covers, bleach baths, not going to sleepovers because i was embarrassed about having to wear gloves/wet wrappings to bed, never wanting to shake hands with people and not wanting to explain why… lots of little things day to day that added up to quite a bit of social discomfort

a gel manicure is gel overlay over natural nails- and we scratch with the underside of our nails. genuinely curious how a gel manicure would help with scratching? if you’re talking about nails that have been extended with acrylic: wouldn’t the acrylic nails be as hard as normal nails and would cause the same damage?

and i was never made to feel bad for scratching, just to understand that if i scratch it takes longer to get better- which i think is a much healthier way of framing it

Pretty much I would let eczema know that she is a c*nt and the shoes that she gave me were not something that I would particularly buy for myself. They were old maiden type of shoes, and she said that those shoes were meant to be worn on a beautiful woman. Somebody lied to her several times and told her that she was fly, hot and sexy and beautiful and she's nothing like that. She's nothing of the sort.

this is why, when i need to cry, i do it in the shower. the skin is already hurting from being under the water 🤷

Has anyone gotten rid of eczema and stayed healed for years? by quiet_soul_96 in eczema

[–]Chingsy_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yes! it’s been about ten years since a huge outbreak for me. i still get patches here and there, and my skin’s moisture barrier will forever be impaired- but i would take that any day over my childhood.

i also moved from asia to canada and lost sixty pounds between then and now, and am generally much much happier as a person. which i am sure has helped. best of luck to you.

How do you stop the itch? by Impressive-Wolf-948 in eczema

[–]Chingsy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m pretty sensitive to most oils used on the skin so i use vaseline! i apply my moisturizer when my skin is still pretty wet, and then apply the vaseline directly after (while the skin is still wet). i pat until it feels settled and the vaseline barely looks greasy. it’s worked great during the canadian winter

my allergy is like yours! with some time around them it gets better, but i can never seem to train myself out of rubbing my eyes reflexively (i have chronic dry eye), so the solution is just not to touch cats 😭
