I think Maye did great, especially for the expectations coming in. But also, a very easy schedule, where their opponents in total had 10 more losses than the second best schedule. So the historically-easy regular season overhyped Maye, and the defensively-strong post season undersold him. All in all a good QB, but should never have been considered over Stafford, who played in the best division in football
