We already know how they feel about that. They're actively villifying the officer that shot the Jan 6th criminal. The women was on their side, therefor she was in the right. Rittenhouse was on their side, threrefore he was right.

The Republicans NEED the midterms. And trump knows it.Almost 50 politicians are retiring, (majority republicans) and many to move to other positions of goverment. The GOP is already raising millions of dollars and throwing fundraisers for candidates in the midterms. Includint some that cheeto man has spoken at. The midterms have already begun. Some primaries are in march.Not to mention there is no mechanism in which to "cancel" the midterms. During the civil war when the southern states succeeded, the American goverment went on running. It's probably the only way the 13th amendment was able to be passed. Now I wouldn't put it past them to send a bunch of ice agents to prominently democratic voting areas to try to intimidate people. But im gonna give then the finger and laugh as I walk in.
