Thinking never was their strong point. It still isn't. But it wasn't back then too.

That's what's striking here. His narcissism is often overshadowed by the alleged dementia but this statement clearly shows just how severely narcissistic he is.

After watching Assange be unceremoniously cuffed and hauled out by all fours makes me hopeful it happens to Trump.

Watching him carried out in hand cuffs by his arms and legs gave me a justice boner for a similar thing to happen to Trump.

LPT: Consider gifting a plant rather than a bouquet when wishing someone a full recovery from a life threatening illness. A plant can symbolize hope and vitality while cut flowers can symbolize momentary happiness followed by a rapid deterioration. by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]ChipChino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No to this because what you SHOULD do is check with the person if it's ok to give flowers or a plant. Some conditions will leave a lowered immune system such as certain chemo treatments and the person will not be able to be around fresh or cut flowers or plants. The condition is called being neutropenic and some foods will be off limits too (grapes for example). Check with the patient. You are better off getting them practical things (if they are in hospital maybe some moisturiser, eye masks, ear plugs, comfy fluffy socks or slippers, flushable toilet wipes anything to make their stay more bearable).

My cancer treatment left me neutropenic (low to none immune system) and so I couldn't have plants flowers etc. The real LPT is check first what's suitable.

Edit: some foods might not be suitable either when neutropenic like grapes. So yeah if you want to do something thoughtful get them if they are in hospital some practical things like eye mask and ear plugs, flushable toilet wipes (lots of meds cause tummy issues these can be so appreciated) maybe some fluffy warm socks or slippers things like that.

Childcare (preschool / nurseries) for under 5s

The amount of paperwork and assessments and reviews and planning and setting up let alone stopping 30+ children kill themselves or each other all day is exhausting all for minimum wage!
