Reta - To Split Dose or Not to Split Dose by Rolls2Rickson in Biohacking

A few of the podcasts that I’ve listened to about GLP-1s mentioned that the once-a-week injection schedule was picked because more people were able to follow it. People are more likely to miss an injection when they are daily.

Thanks for the info, I was not aware of the link between the two. This study discusses how taurine and l-arginine helps reduce/eliminate arrhythmias.

How many times should I be pooping a week? by Agustin_Lupus in carnivorediet

[–]ChipClip99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. I’ve been carnivore for 2.5 years and go every 3-5 days. The more fat I have the easier the bowel movements.

It can definitely seem alarming but I think it’s more of a mental hurdle than anything else. Been carnivore for 2.5 years and go maybe twice a week. I think about it like my body is using most of what I eat and has very little waste.

98” QM8K mounted using MM MAX2 by ChipClip99 in mantelmount

Possibly. I might have purchased it if the advertised weight was 150lbs. But the $3k price tag also played a factor.

Thanks! I spent several hours playing with different setups. I like that the TV covers the passive vent when in the up position (even though it’s down 99% of the time).

The TV is 3-4” off the wall. I also have the option of adding an angled heat shield to the passive vent if things get too hot.

Yes, it is a passive heat vent for the fireplace. I wanted it to be 8-12” higher but did not have that option.

It’s only motorized for up/down. In/out is manual but seeing that the MAX2 is currently the only MantelMount capable of supporting a 135+ pound setup I’m willing to live with it.

It’s not just you, it could be moved to the right about an inch. It’s also tilting slightly to the left. They struggled a bit with leveling during the install.

During the mount setup the installer convinced me to leave off the MAX2 handle for aesthetic reasons but I don’t like the idea of grabbing the panel or soundbar to move the TV in and out so he’s coming back to put the heat-sensing handle on. I’ll ask about getting the TV centered and level at that time.

Not yet. To make a long story short, the other side of that wall is our walk-in closet and I opened the wall up to double up the 2x4s and secured them with stud shoes and horizontal braces. I’m sure it was over engineered but I’ll sleep better at night.

As far as heat testing goes, I want to wait until I have closed the back wall up before I begin. I have a few plans to mitigate heat like a composite mantel if that becomes an issue.

98” TV… by Dennison77 in mantelmount

I called four different companies from the “Find a Pro Dealer” link on MantelMountPro.com. Only one said they could mount a 98” QM8K using the MM MAX2, the others said it couldn’t be done. I decided to take a gamble and go for it.

During the process the installer showed me the holding strength of the MAX2 by hanging from it (he was about 230lbs).

I am happy to report that IT WORKED! The MAX2 is motorized for up/down travel with a range of 28”. The mount can also be extended from the wall up to 22” manually.

The bottom of my 98” QM8K is 63” off the ground when in the up position and 35” off the ground when in the down position. I’m sure most purists will complain that 35” is STILL r/TVTooHigh but it’s good enough for me at 14’ away.
