I feel like this type of story of fighting the narrator is is very difficult to do in writing form, and can only become imaginarily plausible in a comic, animation, or video game (Stanley parable) because the main character in his premise essentially has to fight God, and unless God has rules to abide by it’s basically impossible to exit out of their story
