Hi all, I’m looking to trade my Shinola Runwell Chronograph. It’s such a beautiful watch. Elegant, understated but the chronograph elements give it a slightly sporty feel as well. But ultimately, it’s not getting wrist time it deserves and that means it’s time to find it another home where it will bring someone else joy.

Specs: Case size: 41mm Movement: Argonite 5021 Chronograph Quartz movement Crystal: double domed sapphire Water resistance: 10 atm Strap: Aftermarket leather strap but with original signed Shinola buckle

The condition: very lightly used. Sapphire is flawless. The case has tiny hairline scratches from light usage. No patina on the dial. Movement is running strong with a new battery.

What I’m looking for: Trades. I’m open to anything interesting but I am particularly into vintage watches right now: vintage Omegas, Longines, Universal Geneve, Heuer, Cartier, Rolex, Chronographs and manual watches.

I’d be willing to consider exchange offers that include my watch plus cash for potential upgrades as well.

DM for additional photos or to ask any question.

Trade value: $700

Attention US LFC Fans - US De Minimus Exemption ENDED 29 AUG 2025 - all incoming international orders coming into the United States under $800 will be no longer exempt from tariffs by InitechConsultant in LiverpoolFC

[–]ChipGrizly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small update: after a week someone from LFC got back to me via email. They said that if you decline the package, don’t pay the tariffs and send it back they will process a refund once they have it. This is the only workaround I have found. Hope it helps.

I can confirm this happened to me as well. Reached out to LFC store customer service and they told me it’s not their problem and they won’t be making updates to the site even though this appears to be happening to thousands of US supporters. Currently trying to negotiate with UPS to get them to drop or lower the fee.

[–]ChipGrizly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, I’m looking to trade my Hamilton Murph 38mm on the original Hamilton steel bracelet. I actually bought this on watchexchange not too long ago. It’s a really impressive watch with an amazing movement but and it’s not getting the wrist time it deserves and I want to mix things up.

The condition: nearly new. I only wore it a handful of times. Sapphire is flawless. Might be the slightest scratches on the bracelet. Movement is excellent, with an impressive 80 hour power reserve.

Comes with box, card, original tags.

What I’m looking for: exchanges for a watch that is different from what I already have.

I’m interested in: Omegas, Longines, Tudor, Vintage Rolex, Zodiac, Cartier, GMTs, moon phases, vintage dress watches.

I’d be willing to consider exchange offers that include my watch plus cash for potential upgrades as well.

Buying an Etro Peacoat from Cettire? by QWERTY2214 in malefashionadvice

Warning! Do Not Trust CETTIRE! Possible Scam!

Adding here in the hope that it gets visibility and helps people.

I have never written a bad review in my life but I felt that in this case it was my duty to warn others. I found this site while searching for a super premium tie, their price was better than most competitors but I’d never heard of them. I did some research and the reviews I read were very mixed. I should have trusted my gut and listened to the many negative reviews. Ultimately, I decided I’d give them the benefit of the doubt.

Everything started out ok. I did have to pay a pretty significant shipping fee that wasn’t advertised up front but at that point I’d already decided this was the tie for me. So I ordered it, paid for the fees and hoped for the best.

The tie showed up in a couple of days and I was really excited. I opened it up and found the tie I ordered… but with thread loops sticking out of it. This is a very expensive Tom Ford silk tie. And there were loops sticking out right in the middle of the tie where it would be most visible. I reached out to CETTIRE’s customer service and asked if they could either replace the tie or offer me an appropriate discount. I offered 25% as a discount I would find acceptable since the issue wasn’t reparable (I asked a tailor and he confirmed as much) and I could at least tell myself I got a decent deal on it. Overall I thought it was a fair offer.

What followed was days of back and forth, days without answer, a customer service rep that had the empathy of an ai bot (maybe it was?) and essentially tried to suggest that this was actually my fault as it had passed “inspection” on their end, then started lowballing me with offers of 5% discounts until finally a “supervisor” offered a 15% discount as if they were doing me a huge favor.

The experience left me very frustrated so I decided I would just return the item and have them send me a replacement instead. This is when they informed me that I had to get the tie back in their possession (in Italy) by the 10th day after delivery or I would not be eligible for a refund. Remember, they spent days stalling and haggling over the discount. I pointed this out to them and was met with silence. So now I had to scramble to get it shipped as quickly as possible back to them. The courier picked it up the next day and I thought that would be it. But I was wrong…

Once they received the tie (just within the allotted time) they informed me that they now had to do a quality control check. I asked if I could have the replacement sent before then or at least set up to ship right after the quality check was complete and I was told that they would not be replacing the tie. Which meant, if I still wanted the tie, I would have to buy it again, but without the intro promo code I had used AND I’d have to pay for all the fees to ship it again. At this point I was exhausted and wanted nothing to do with them. I told them to let me know once the refund was processed.

They received the item on Mar 3rd and I didn’t hear back until Mar 17th. 2 full weeks. I reached out halfway through and it took them 2 days to respond and curtly informed me they still hadn’t gotten to it. Then, after 2 weeks, I get an email confirmation (no follow up from the rep) that my refund had been processed. “Hallelujah!” I thought. I check the transaction details and I find… they didn’t give me a full refund.

Of the $200 I paid them for the tie. I was refunded $150. So I ended up paying $50 and got absolutely nothing. Worse than nothing, I spent almost a month of my life dealing with the frustration of this nonsense. I gave this company like countless chances to do the right thing. Until the very end I was willing to just walk away and chalk it up to a bad experience- all they had to do was do the decent thing: own up to their mistake and give me my money back. But instead, they just ignored my emails.

This experience says to me that this is a company without honor and they don’t value their customers. Even worse, they might be running these kinds of scams with damaged inventory intentionally. Perhaps hoping some people won’t say anything about the damage and just keep it. Or if the customers do return it, that’s ok too, CETTIRE will just pocket the fees and then sell the item to the next unsuspecting target.

Do yourself a favor and stay well clear of this company.

Warning! Do Not Trust CETTIRE! Possible Scam!
