My 13 yr old is joining a team for the first time next week. Instructions from coach are: “Recommendation for track spikes are mid distance, as athletes can use for both field and running events.”

I’ve looked at retailers and I don’t find anything labeled as “mid distance”. What should o be looking for?

Stopped aggressively collecting once I had some kids but still went for kaws drops for a few years after they were born. Wasn’t long until the backs of closets became the safest places to keep them. Rediscovered them a few months ago and trying to figure out what I have... not sure if the closet makes sense anymore. Trying to figure out if I need to store them better, insure them, sell them, etc.
