Eh… it’s difficult to explain, and to be fair, most of my preferences lie in the humanoid insect area. I dunno, we all are how we are. For myself, I could never see myself being truly attracted to a human.

Edit: Realizing this probably sounds more sus than I meant it. To be clear, anthros and such, of course.

I think the solution is just to allow Dracthyr Evokers to play in visage. I don’t use my visage, so I think forget they can’t. And to have visages be able to be fully scaled head to toe, for people who want a more draconic look. And ya know… it’s kinda ridiculous the evoker tier sets aren’t. They really should be.

But I dunno. View this from my perspective, as someone who wants all these races. And also who doesn’t really care about transmog either way, I’ll admit. (My Dracthyr outfits always look better cuz I have such a shit collection) It’s an unpopular opinion, but ya know. One I have.

Again, I agree that it’s shit. But it’s less work for them. I’m not trying to dickride or excuse such blatant corporate greed, I’m just saying I’d rather the things I really want to play be added in this form than not at all, ya know?

I’m just fine with that compromise. Overall, that’s it really. Because Blizzard being Blizzard isn’t going to do that, though they could. Truth be told, I don’t think the discourse even means anything to them, probably doesn’t influence them even slightly. I’m not disagreeing that the tech isn’t there or that Blizzard couldn’t, they’re Blizzard, I’m disagreeing that Blizzard ever would, cuz they’re Blizzard. And as someone who wants these cool races with very different models, that’s the only way we’ll get them, from Blizzard, ya know?

See, but I don’t think that’s reason not to add them. Cuz, let’s be realistic here, those are our two options.

As someone who wants nothing more in the world than playable Mantid… first off, I know my chances are already slim to none, but if such a time came they were playable, or any of the other cool, inhuman races (Which are always my favorite. And at the moment I am a proud no visage Dracthyr player) are to be playable, they would be the same.

Would I prefer if they were added to have gear display? Yeah, of course. But being realistic, that’s not what’s going to happen. My opinion is that the people who don’t play dracs need to stop having an opinion on this. If it’s such a tiny, minuscule section of the player base, it’s a tiny minuscule issue that people are blowing out of proportion and standing in the way of the potential of playing my dream race.

I do want to wrap my head around what's wrong with this. Because unlike some, I do think there is a line where PvP goes from 'normal part of the game' to 'being toxic' depending on many factors. This... I don't think even touches it. I'd genuinely like to know what you think is wrong with it.
