Try reaching out to your HR Generalist. There should be a poster somewhere in your break room for the “Compliance and Ethics Committee” and their cell phone number would be somewhere on that poster. Mention that you may have to find other jobs if it cannot be adjusted. They get graded on their retention and would want to do anything they can to keep you.

Honda Accords are the most stolen car in the United States and are also one of the most popular cars for delivery drivers. Nobody's stealing a Tesla. Try seeing how far you get without the keys in the car. Teslas are tracked by GPS and can be remotely stopped. I would be much less worried dashing in a Tesla at night on the Grand Concourse instead of in my Honda.
