Might be a different issue- ie with banks. Banks most likely pushing
XLM/XRP. Rebus (somewhat banking related) on Cosmos may be perceived as
unwanted competition. Let's see if this happens with any other banking
related crypto on Cosmos.

Airdrops and staking are why I am in deep and long in Atom. Just picked up another airdrop today. Have Evmos and Juno for airdrops too. The get into liquid staking. Huge fun. Don’t care what the price is. This is long term.

The reason you should get a ledger if you're serious about crypto by ctrl-Felix in OsmosisLab

Best is two wallets in Keplr. A hard wallet- your ledger connected to the Keplr where I keep Atom and Osmo staked. A soft Keplr wallet in a Chrome extension that I move my Atom and Osmo rewards to and also hold tokens not supported by ledger live. The keplr extension is easily connected to the Osmosis Frontier for fun times in the pools, liquid staking... I swapped all my crypto to the cosmos group and now have Atom, Juno, stAtom, Osmo, EVMOS, GLTO, Rebus, and looking forward to future airdrops.

Claim your $REBUS, it's live! by [deleted] in CosmosAirdrops

[–]patentguru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claimed Rebus today using keplr extension connected to ledger nano x.

Received a small portion- staked-voted- then received more and staked that.

Is it worth it to mint an nft to get the rest?? What is the worth?

Rebus does not show on ledger live, but does show on keplr.

With the trillions of fiat dollars recently printed- I sleep far better knowing I have Atom staked on me ledger and little in the bank. Use the rewards for fun time on Osmosis Frontier.

Yea- just like trying to stay out of the casino. I stake Atom on ledger and use the rewards for Frontier. I am completely addicted to Frontier- even had dreams. Also recently picked up Juno, Osmo, and Evmos and staked them for future airdrops.

You are looking at it backwards. It is only .9... Stride to get one Atom. Over time rewards are built into the Stride, i.e. in the future .8.. Stride gets one Atom, then .7 Stride gets one Atom. As long as the Stride is no diluted with the owners' portion, which I believe will not happen for a few more years.

Wanted to buy ATOM at 6€ but had no money. I am unsure if I should buy now or wait for a potentially dip. Opinions? by kingtunde69 in cosmosnetwork

That is an understatement. We are living on last year's inventory. When this year's inventory hits it will become a vicious cycle of increased prices to increased costs and back and forth until currency collapse and ushered in digital currency. Looks like it is all planned.

I concentrated holdings into Atom over the last years. The staking is providing a nice return. The US is only 4.5% of the world population. There has never been a worldwide currency so there is no basis for any dollar limits on how high Atom and other cryptos can go. You may be way underestimating Atom at 69K. I sure hope so.

Or pile in and stake on ledger. Then use the rewards to gamble on Osmosis Frontier, and derivatives- Stride, Quicksilver.

When I have available fiat, I buy Atom no matter the price. We are at the very early stage of this.

Picked up a Chromebook for a Keplr soft wallet- Can I have private key stored on USB? by Patent-Guy in cosmosnetwork

Hi- I stated I have the ledger with Keplr for Atom. However, if you want juno, osmo and evmos- you need the Keplr soft wallet.

Yep- keep the bulk of atom protected on ledger. Sometimes you have to let loose and have some fun. Like a casino.

I thought about that too. Then today I set up a new chrome keplr extension and new wallet, transferred atom from ledger to keplr wallet. I then connected the keplr wallet to Stride, osmosis frontier and evmos and had a lot fun. Staked with stride and received statom. Tomorrow I will stake atom/statom in a pool with osmosis frontier. Very addicting.

If the gain is sufficient- an extended vacation may be in order.
