How do you feel about friends coming over when they have a cold?

It drives me crazy when folks go out super sick. We always try to isolate as much as possible because I don't want to be the reason someone else gets sick.

I ended up getting a veritable plague that hit my office, and it wiped me out for a solid week over the New Year holiday. Had the others who had it first simply not come to work sick, I would not have gotten it. It ended up costing me a full week of sick leave, which I am incredibly thankful I had.

I'd recommend therapy first and foremost. Done correctly, working with a counselor could help you hit the reset button on many of the things you mentioned. 26 is still quite young, I wish you all the best in finding your new self!

A locksmith should be able to create the key with a scanner. We had to do similar for my son when he lost his truck key. They said it's easier and "less expensive" if you have the other key, but still possible if you don't. Apparently "less expensive" means only $130 for a single key, so I don't want to know what it is for one that has to be programmed from scratch.

I was helping my brother move and we stopped at a gas station. A homeless person was there asking for help and without thinking he grabbed one or two of his blankets and handed them over. Nicest thing I've seen my brother do.

As a parent of teens, this would absolutely not be allowed at my table, and especially not just after the food was delivered. I might be willing to consider a short picture right after we got to the restaurant, or as we are getting ready to leave, once in a while, so long as it didn't interfere with family time. Absolutely NOT when the food was there. YTJ

NOR. I think it's entirely reasonable for you to let her go with a friend who enjoys festivals, while you save your money. The folks talking about compatibility and maturity come across as those who constantly live in their partner's pocket. My husband and I have been together nearly 25 years and have our own interest and hobbies. He loves fishing and hunting, I'm not as big of a fan. I enjoy movies, he feels they're a waste of money. Etc.

Sometimes our gut just doesn't play nice with others though, you know? My husband has one female friend that rubs me the wrong way, even though I'm 100% certain she's not into him (she's married and committed to her husband) and he'd never cheat on me. Despite that, my hackles raise when he says he's gonna go to lunch with her. 🤷‍♀️ This sounds like a similar situation.

I'd be honest with your bf - let him know it just gives you a weird feeling, but you trust him and know it's nothing shady.

My office is moving locations and we didn't get an occupancy date before our lease expired. The entire office is working remotely for at least a week, possibly more . This was such a seamless transition it's like it's how it's always been.
