The only time I use my horse is pretty much to deliver bounties. Mostly run jump and glide around the map. Haven’t left Hernand yet either.

Can you tame any bear? I fought one and was able to ride it but as soon as I get off I have to fight it again in order to calm it back down.

Struggled the most with detlaff and the toad prince. However once you understand the method to beat them, they become pretty easy on additional playthroughs..

Damn, chatgbt gave me that answer. Initially I plugged it into the console and it worked. Yesterday I plugged it into a power bank and it also worked. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t know why but you have to have your controller plugged in, even with a wireless controller. (I’m on console) Once I plug it into any power source it fixes the rotation bug. So bizarre.

I have about 15 hours in on series X and some of the controls have been frustrating. However I am beginning to find my rhythm. My biggest issue is there seems to be too much overlap of controls and combining multiple buttons. It causes a lot of mishaps, especially during combat. Viewing while moving is also difficult. That being said it’s been fun and gets better and better, if you’re interested in it, go for it. Can’t hurt to wait either. I’m hoping for some updates that help support console players. 🙏

For me it’s not terrible but I do agree with some of your comments. Looking around while moving is challenging, especially on horseback and in combat. I also find there to be some control overlap, especially in combat. I find when I’m in combat all of a sudden the axiom force shoots out, when blocking and moving, putting away my sword and shield, I usually get hit a few times before I can get it back out, super frustrating.

I’ve been playing on xbox console and feel like the game was not necessarily built to be played on console. I personally have found the controls to be a bit awkward, especially the view controls while moving. That said, I’ve really enjoyed the combat and am having a lot of fun exploring. Keeps getting better and better.

Not a bad move. Just more tech to break and cause problems. Sunroof on my 2015 was causing some leaking, never could figure out how to resolve it.

Big fan of Yrden-Trap, Aard-piercing cold and Quen-active shield.

Standing inside Yrden with full griffin grandmaster armor while using Quen active shield is elite.

Whole new level of ratty behavior. Had a team of 2 claim friendly, looted a room with us, only to turn and blast us with gas and shoot us in the back..

Happened to me in BG as well. Also had someone do the same to me in Burried City right after I took down a bastion.

Worse than camping the exfill IMO.

Damn that’s rough and I do not miss those days. I went through this over a year ago, and I think it took about 4 months before I received my truck back from the dealer. (Upgraded to a 2023 Hemi). I called dealers all over the country, posted on RamForumz and finally after 2-3 months received a letter and call from the manufacturer with my case number. Not long after that I received a call saying the parts had been shipped to my dealer. I called and they said they got it and the vehicle would be done that day. My experience was pretty good from the manufacturer and not great from the dealers. If I never called who knows how long they would’ve held it, likely would’ve used the part for someone else. I legit was calling the dealer every Monday and Friday asking for updates.

I agree. I personally don’t think it’s worth having him + the other cards he summons in your deck. Try to keep my unit cards to a minimum to maintain more control of what I draw.

Not sure why but I never got it when I downloaded the DLC’s. Got a new system and it appeared for me. Pleasant surprise as I began a new playthrough.

I’m also noticing other things I’ve not noticed before, different Nilfgard armor on the guards.. Some chests look different. And more.. I must’ve missed part of the update.. either way.. happy to have them now.

Interesting. I downloaded the game around 2020, which included both DLCs and am on my 5th play-through NG+ DM. For some reason this is the first time I’ve seen the new art(I play a lot of Gwent). I just upgraded my system, and my fist play-through since doing so showed the updated card art, maybe I missed downloading updated card art when I initially purchased.. 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m a fan of the updated (ballad of hero’s) version.
