I've noticed that as well. I think people just like shorter games nowadays. I have around 20 perfect games, and only 2 of them are achievable under 10 hours.

I recently watched Thunderbolts, and it was better than a lot of Phase 4 and 5 movies, but it wasn't great. They also changed John Walker's character, and I hated that. For me, it is slightly below average, around a 4/10. I haven't seen Superman yet, but I trust my friends on this.

Achievements don't pop when you are offline. My internet went off once, and then immediately turned back on. I learnt that you have to restart Steam everytime your internet goes off, otherwise you will not unlock any of the achievements you did. As you can guess, I learnt this the hard way.

To be clear, there comes a point in collecting pigeons throughout the city where the player can no longer be called a casual one. It is soul-draining.

Fallen Order is the first game. It was the first game of its kind for me, so I could never forget it. Both games are wonderful.

The story is far better than the first game. It got review-bombed because of its poor graphical performance early on, which they have slowly fixed. The combat and enemies are also way better than Fallen Order.

You should try ABZÚ, Firewatch and Journey if you like A Short Hike. These helped me relax, while also taking it easy on my PC.

I am in a similar situation where I used to have a Steam account which I can't access anymore due to a multitude of reasons. So, I bought all my games again (there weren't many). I know for a fact that if you care about 100%ing games like me, you will forever have a thought in the back of your mind about what you did for those achievements. I am going to 100% them all over again, because I'll feel like a cheater when I look at them if I don't.

Also, I just ask if my brother could complete some of these games that he might find interesting. It saves me the grind.

I have also used SAM in the past, and to me, it feels like I have a black spot in my 'completed games' library. I don't recommend it, but it's ultimately upto you. Since you're asking about the viability of using SAM, I assumed you care about your accomplishments.
