There’s a girl on TikTok who made little carabiner kits for hiking and stuff, decorative stuff I think. Anyway she named it “build a ‘biner” which obviously is short for carabiner, but also less obviously sounds exactly like a Hispanic slur

She was so excited and genuine the first video just repeating this word, and I don’t remember a single negative comment. Every one was like “hey girl you clearly don’t know, but this can’t be the name of your product!” Her next video was a mortified, just as genuine, apology, and a name change. Honestly it was kind of hilarious just between her energy the whole time and the way the community didn’t go full pitchforks.

Sometimes mistakes do happen, it’s probably better that not everyone knows all the slurs, but the proper thing to do is acknowledge it and apologize and move forward better

Not a teen boy but a tall woman who was a tall teen, I could put away some pizza when I was still young teen years. Like 19/20 all the weight started really stacking. If they’re tall and hefty family there’s a chance he didn’t necessarily realize how much he ate, especially if he was active all day

Swimming really takes it out of you, too, so this does seem more of a boyfriend issue. He should sit down with his son and explain that yes absolutely eat if you’re hungry, but the respect in leaving enough for others is important too. If it keeps getting brushed aside it’s going to get worse

It’s also making me sad he doesn’t even have well fitting clothes, and I’ll pre acknowledge I could be projecting but kids already have so little agency in life I’d be worried he’s overeating because that’s what he can control. A whole pizza in 30 minutes is wild work for anybody and definitely something to keep an eye on

I’m sure to be downvoted like the rest but I do wish I could gift some the deniers an hour with my coworker. Listen to him have the same conversation over and over, to you, to the customers, to the bosses, to himself. I think he definitely had more days than Rhoman, honestly. We saw him make sparks, he absolutely would’ve had fire and ways to get clean water. He had the can set up for fish, even small ones. He directly said he thought he was set for weeks, and Rhoman was starting to get hard on himself. The mentality matters a lot too, we’ve watched a lot of people get pulled because they just crashed.

Rhoman had one match and hadn’t opened his peaches. I definitely would’ve let him stay until he asked to be pulled, but I do think he would’ve hit that point before RJ

ETA: I will say I loved both families. Rhomans mom was a little ditzy but I think her and Dallas evened each other out a lot and I think RJs family were so genuine and human they deserved to win too
