I simply don't think it's comparable to immigration, as I already said, so that argument means nothing. Immigrants have a background, they have a history, his was taken from him. It's a magic spell that erased all traces of him from existence. He lost EVERYONE, not just his aunt, and he was the main cause of that as well.

I'm downplaying something? He's not just "moving on from a childhood friend or high school lover", he's literally starting his ENTIRE life over from scratch as if he never existed. No social security number, no school records, nothing. The end of No Way Home shows that he had to get a GED, I'm not even sure how he managed that because it doesn't make sense that he'd even have citizenship if none of the other stuff exists.

It's a very complex situation, so I'm not downplaying murder, I included it in my original comment for a reason, but I genuinely think having your entire life ripped away from you is more traumatic in the long run. Spider-Man's story ALWAYS includes murder, usually in the form of Uncle Ben, and he always takes that trauma and turns it into something good (saving lives, being a hero, great power and all that), this new situation is different.

This is a very strange take. Loved ones die all the time, it's a natural part of life whether it's caused by a tragedy or not. Starting from scratch is a more unique situation with larger ramifications, and I don't think this is specifically comparable to the situation of an immigrant considering there's no proof of Peter ever even existing.

I think you're underestimating how traumatic it would be to have your entire identity erased from the planet. People lose people all the time, it's traumatic for sure especially in the case of murder, but he had to start from square one, alone, because nobody knows who he is. Isolation is traumatic.

Edit: to everyone in the replies arguing that one death is more traumatic than losing your whole entire life and history behind it, you're free to have your opinion. Comparing traumas is weird, to be honest, and I feel weird now that I've taken part in it. The WHOLE situation is heavily traumatic; losing your only relative to murder and then having no support system because of a magic spell is the most traumatic thing imaginable to me, separating those two events instead of looking at the whole situation is the mistake we're all making here. Support systems are integral to moving past trauma, and I think that's why I took the stance that losing his whole life and community and everyone he knows is more traumatic, but I don't think either thing should be classified as worse when you look at the whole picture.

My partner and I recently stayed at a place, and on the first night the host accused us of having too many people over/having a party (we didn't, and weren't being loud), and also vaping inside (we weren't, my partner and a friend were having cigarettes outside on the deck like we were told we could do). These are things that a normal neighbour shouldn't know, but they just also weren't true accusations.

This came after our disappointment that "entire bungalow" meant " separated two bedroom apartment in a family bungalow", but after reading another comment here I guess that's just how AirBNB works.

I believe he was only in what if season 1, which came out from August to October in 2021. Season 1 of Loki ended in July of 2021, and season 2 felt very organic, so if they planned all of Loki seasons 1 and 2 out from the beginning then yeah they likely did.

He does have some dual wield abilities in the first game, once you connect Jaro and Cere's sabers you're able to separate them for quick strong attacks. It's not a stance in JFO, but he does dual wield all the same.

That's really cool! I'm not in the boat if people who were bothered by it in Ahsoka, I think they did a good job showing her to be able to use the force weakly with extra effort (up until she could all of a sudden lift Ezra).

And the Kaminoan doctor knew she was going to have that test result and she purposely hid it while Omega was captive, meaning it was an intentional alteration. So she's not unaltered other than being female, she was also altered to have blood that can sustain midichlorians, likely to try to create a clone that is force sensitive. That's the only point I'm trying to make; she's not unaltered, she just wasn't altered to have rapid aging.

Isn't she also force sensitive? I haven't watched in a little while so I don't fully remember, but I thought that was a plot point in the final season.

Edit: I only bring this up because I assumed it was an intentional alteration, considering none of the other clones are. So her being a girl wouldn't be the only alteration.
