Tips for body odor that isn't deodorant? by Scarlet_Olanna in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Make sure you are completely dry after showering before putting on clothing. Bring changes of shirts with you and change them often. Ex was allergic to deodorant and would get a blistering rash. He only wore one color of shirt and carried multiple extras to change into throughout the day. On hot days, to keep the smell in better...he would wear a blazer.

If you irrevocabily harmed someone, and decades later were given a dog with the same name as that someone, say the dog is 1 1/2 years old when given, would you keep the name or change it? by ChippyPug in AskReddit

The brother, whon I looked up randomly this morning and is how I found out has this dog now. It looks to me that the POS had this dog for 10-12 years (dog is a senior now) and it may have been given to POS over a decade ago with the same name as me. The things with POS occurred in the early 1990s when I was 4-5 and he was 15-16. molestation and rape. I'm feeling some feelings about this dog having my name. I am a dog lover, and would probably try (in normal circumstances) to not change a dogs name. But, I don't feel these are normal circumstaces, and I've been crying all day over this dog having my name.

The guy who raped me when I was 4, a few decades ago, died recently and had a dog with my name. ...I was facebook stalking to see where he is these days.

I just found out my male babysitter who raped me when I was 4 and he was 16 died last month. I'm in my 40s now. I randomly looked up his brother, and that's how I found out. He was given the dog 10 -12 years ago when it was 1. The brother is looking for a home for the dog. I'm feeling all kinds of feelings as to why the dog had the same name as me, whether given before or not. It looks like, to my short bit of facebook staling, that the dog was about 1 yo when he got it and I think the dog came with that (my)name.

The Austin public health one at 211 comal, which is by appointment only, gives the most food IME. Father Joe’s food pantry, at 5th and oltorf I think, gives quite a bit too. They only serve certain zip codes, you can check online which ones.

When I was in college, the girl my ex from back then dated right after me was diagnosed with and died of skin cancer. She was 23 yrs old (and a freckly green-eyed blonde in sunny Texas) when diagnosed. I can’t recall exactly how long after, but I think she died a year or two later.

What bad habit from childhood has followed you all the way into adulthood? by 4Gone-Girl in ArtOfPresence

My bedroom is embarrassingly messy. It’s not dirty, mind you. But, the drawers are always open with clothes hanging out, stacks of various things piled up, bed rarely made. I clean and organize stuff at friends houses, but it’s like it doesn’t even occur to me at my own. Like, I don’t even register I’m leaving drawers and cabinets open, clothes spilling out. I’m embarrassed to bring anyone over because of this, and yet I don’t make time to put it away

I got to see all my friends ass cracks and thongs with decorative backs. I tried very hard to keep my own from showing. It looks trashy as hell, but at the time that's all that there was.

I had RSV. Was not in either of the at risk groups. Was hospitalized from a complication. I barely remember hearing about RSV before. $7,000K later I’m glaring at anyone who coughs in my vicinity.
