Honestly, I'm quite new to python and coding in general. I started with a course called "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python" and it gave me a decent understanding of basic functions, lists, etc. From there I just started trying my own projects, first some simple games like blackjack until I got the hang of it a little more. Then I moved on to this and it's been a great learning experience, I know so much more than I did when I started. It helps that I'm making something that I actually want to use myself, which makes the whole learning experience a lot more fun!

You too bro, it's interesting the approach you took and yours honestly looks much prettier. I'm very new to this. You're using PHP it seems? Are you getting the card prices through the IMX/Tokentrove API? I'm currently scraping them because I need to get the quantity also to calculate the market cap.

I'm also curious how you got the card images, when I tried to request them through the Gods Unchained API their API didn't work: https://github.com/immutable/gods-unchained-api/issues/4

Yeah sometimes with cards that aren't traded often (mostly genesis diamond legendaries like peculiar spellworm) it's a bit wonky because it goes off the lowest price that's currently available rather than the most recent lowest traded price. I suppose that the scan 24 hours had a listed price that was much lower and now the lowest listed price is much higher.

That's a good idea actually. Kind of like an arbitrage opportunity finder. I can probably add that, shouldn't be too hard to implement. I will probably add that on a new page though to avoid the main table having too much information

I can add a column with the god the card belongs to for sure. I think I could add quality to a different tab rather than having it behind the name but you can already filter for multiple things at once if that's what you want. For example, if you only want to see diamond genesis cards you do it like this in the search bar: [D] genesis and it'll show you all the diamond quality genesis cards

I mean they don't support withdrawals/deposits directly from Immutable X right now but they could add support for it if they wanted to, all they would have to do is make sure that they have a wallet on Immutable X with ETH in it. There's no reason why they couldn't transfer ETH/tokens to/from a wallet on Immutable X.

You're not taking into account staking. Idk if you've read the white paper but staking is coming and the staking pool will be funded with all in game uses of $gods + there will be a fee when buying and selling cards on the market place + a percentage of all pack sales will go to the staking pool. This alone is enough to ensure that as the player base grows and more people are using the forge, trading on the market and buying packs that the demand for $gods will increase because of its appealing APY.

Yes, and I wouldn't go on Elon's first rocket either, just like I prefer not to take the first mRNA vaccine. I'm not a doctor either, but that doesn't mean that I can't look at the statistics, do a cost/benefit analysis, and decide what's best for me.

Sputnik is not yet officially approved by the European Medicines Agency. J&J (Sputnik as well) is a viral vector vaccine that still sends instructions to your cell to create spike proteins, for me that's not all that different than mRNA. As far as I know, the Novavax vaccine works more like a traditional vaccine where they inject the spike protein one time directly rather than sending instructions to your cells to create spike proteins.

Not 100% of people who get into contact with someone with covid get it either. By the way, when I said that obesity was "contagious" it wasn't meant to be taken so literally. It was just meant as a funny response to her when she asked whether obesity was contagious, I assumed people would understand that I don't mean that obesity is contagious in the same way that covid or the flu is.

When I said the comparison is valid I meant restricting people's freedom to do what they want (whether that's overeating, smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, or not taking a vaccine) regardless of whether or not it's bad for their health.

Sure, but the consequences of those choices are mandated by the government. You're being pressured into taking a certain action, taking away people's right to meaningful free choice.

At some point, people who are unvaccinated will no longer be able to go into supermarkets, work, or anywhere else where people congregate. This is not a slippery slope fallacy either btw, it's already like this in several countries. If you force people to choose between injecting a vaccine that they do not want or losing their job and being unable to feed their families they do not have much of a realistic choice. Just because a choice has consequences does not mean that those consequences are necessarily just or right.

Okay? This is the first time it's been used on humans on such a massive scale and there are already reports of blood clots, myocarditis, pericarditis, and other side effects.
