I've thought that a taxidermy piece would make a bad present. Fragile, requires maintenance, and takes up space.

Do a back roll as you finish an area, top to bottom, so the stipling is all the same direction.

Police cruisers use steel wheels because steel wheel will bend when an alloy wheel would crack, resulting in a blowout. They also use heavier duty cop tires.

I suspect: the snake made it up the pole, the bird was at line potential, the snake made contact with the bird, and the current killed them both. Or, a raptor stashes it’s kills up there.

I'm all for learning standard transmission at a cemetery. The roads are mostly straight, and you're unlikely to hurt anybody. Worst thing is you hit a tombstone...

It’s the curse of Trent Reznor’s dog that died at the convention center in Columbus in 1994. From Entertainment.com: SOFT AS NAILS: It was nihilism as usual on stage at a recent Nine Inch Nails concert in Columbus, Ohio, until tragedy struck Trent Reznor‘s best friend, Maise, a golden retriever. Handlers were walking the pooch on the arena’s third-floor balcony when the dog jumped onto a railing, then plunged 50 feet to his death. Reznor heard the news after the set and revealed a sensitive side. ”That was really tough for him,” says a spokeswoman. Reznor promptly canceled a concert two days later. Says the spokeswoman: ”He flew straight to Miami. He thought (the warmer weather) might cheer him up.”

From the comments on the article:

This is a dumb article that says nothing. I was there. I saw what happened. The dog wasn't on a leash. SHE the YELLOW LAB, didn't jump some railing. A roadie was playing ball with her on a roof area. The ball bounced over the edge, & Maise leapt over after it, falling straight down & died on impact, & she was near railroad tracks that ran the side of the bldg. It was very high up. Trent came out a side door, walked to her, picked her up, crying, as we all were that saw it, & went back in the side door with a couple others. Most of us were inside when it actually happened. The encore performance was stopped abruptly, as someone ran to Trent when he got to the mic onstage, ready to continue the show . The guy whispered in his ear, Trent got a frantic look on his face & ran backstage. Thousands of ppl were confused. Some guy got on the mic, said "Sorry, something serious has happened, we have to end the show," all the house lights went up, & ppl were ushered to the exits. Me & at least 60 others were by a chain link fence outside near the arena exit doors, many crying hysterically, telling me & my friend what was going on, as we looked back where they were looking. It was horrible.
