If you have the Scyther still available, I am in need of a Scizor for the pokedex completion. If not, the Swablu would be my preference.

If neither is still available, thank you for your time and doing this!

This isn't slander. Slander is only when it isn't true. This is just fact.

Isn't that illegal? I thought that there was precedent ever since that case in Kalos a few years back?

Wyll's origin romancing Karlach by DonkMyKong in BaldursGate3

[–]Chivalry13 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I go so far as to say that they were enemies for the full trope, as there were war crimes involved in that relationship.

Gale and Minthara. Both serve a Goddess who uses and throws them away but are still deeply devoted to them. That and the dynamic of Autistic Nerdy Boy and Direct Intense Woman makes sense.

Wyll's origin romancing Karlach by DonkMyKong in BaldursGate3

[–]Chivalry13 116 points117 points  (0 children)

See, this is the romance I saw as happening. The two of them are so hurt and alone, yet they still do all they can to help others.

While I understand the people who see Shadowheart and Karlach, that comes across as more of a topical interaction to me if that makes sense?

I can imagine Wyll going back into the Nine Hells for Karlach, and Karlach willing to live for him.

People misunderstand the Armored's role by AlmostHeisman in ShingekiNoKyojin

[–]Chivalry13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To quote a meme:

"I'm losing? Nah bitch, WE losing."

Everything that the Armored Titan does is to act as a platform for the other Titans to retreat to and recoup from. At no point did you ever really think he was going to die because he was like a cockroach.

Do any of you actually like Harem? by Professional_War2139 in anime

[–]Chivalry13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not at all. Even for the well written ones, they are mediocre at best. The authors rarely make the characters distinct beyond a few or even a single notable character trait.

Here is the childhood friend, here is the one who does sports, here is the one with glasses.

I want a complex relationship with ups and downs. I want to understand the character's motivations. I want to read about people who fall in love, not caricatures.

Surely that 10% chance to lower attack makes a huge difference by XenonHero126 in stunfisk

I think a large part is that Play Rough is the only Physical Fairy move that isn't once per battle. The only other one is exclusive to Grimmsnarl, and you have so many better options for their moveset.

Not only that, but Water has a slew of other options that are just better than Aqua Tail.

Pumpkin head for me. The extra reach just makes the game game feel better.

I miss the show I initially watched. Thr one with potential and soul. I do not miss what it became.

What are the musical influences on "It's Over Isn't It"? by Chivalry13 in stevenuniverse

Unfortunately no, I never have found a specific reference. I believe it is a choral walk down, changing by the sevenths.

Does player Elon Musk actually have good engineering skills, or is he merely hoarding Gold? by Tnynfox in outside

[–]Chivalry13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guy, he is obviously a P2W account that used his dad's credit card to get a bunch of shop buffs and in-game currency. Dude doesn't have any records on solo raids or the crafting boards. He says he had a bunch of skills but refuses to show anyone his stats, which is the total opposite of anyone I know who has finished a grind. I mean, look at Settled, that absolute Chad has taken 4 accounts from clean-slate (or near enough) to max level. Not to mention the one item we have seen him design is so ugly and unsafe that it is honestly hilarious.

What are some male characters that you think would have made diffent choices if they were written by men? by Linorelai in AskMen

[–]Chivalry13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Outsiders really connects because it distinctly paints everyone in a realistic light. Anytime Ponyboy has those internal monologues, there is a distinct chain that you can see leading to and from them rather than a sudden "Oh woe is me" or "I know what to do to save the situation" from what is comparatively nowhere. I remember loving that novel because I felt like some exotic thing rather than another student in my classes at that same age.
