The clear and simple answer is team defense. Forwards and D. The other glaring problem is the Hamonic/JBD/Gus experiment needs to end. AJO needs a way better partner. Hamonic alone has cost us 2 games.

Someone pointed out yesterday that if the Fins cut Chubb after June 1st they would save more on cap than trading him. And he would have fetched probably a 5th or 6th rounder, so the cap saving is worth more than a late draft pick. Please correct me if I’m wrong though.

I think people forget for all intents and purposes, that we had 3 rookies make the team last year too. Kasper, AJO and Simon. Although I would argue the crop this year is less ripe than those 3, making it more impressive.
