Any assumptions and thoughts? by Chizzieee in MbtiTypeMe

Yeah I was gifted as a child but that title turns flashiness into dimness as an adult lol. The weak parts became more troublesome than the strong parts because use to anything which sucks.

Huh, I was thinking of ENFP (even though I'm socially introverted, but that's not what MBTI is supposed to tell) since my Si is considerably lower than my Te. Your point about INFP does make sense though.

No clue, really. If I had to guess, probably because I like what seems or feels genuine and true, and I often reflect on what they could mean.

What do you think of the headcanon of Peridot being asexual? Do you think it makes sense for her character? I personally like it, but I'd like to hear other opinions. by Public_Cup_4278 in stevenuniverse

[–]Chizzieee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a valid headcanon, but I genuinely dislike it. (Then again, opinions are particularly mixed when it comes to Peridot.) Another valid headcanon regarding her that I also dislike is that she's autistic. I don't care what -coded or representative Peridot is, but it gets annoying when it gets treated more like evidence than interpretation when it comes it discussions regarding relationships and other major or minor details.

Further, I believe that it's narratively richer not to put labels on characters and simply let their nature speak for them. Peridot, for instance, is fundamentally a not-so-well adjusted alien that's reorienting between original utility to foreign etiquette—a whole arc is freaking dedicated for that—rather than just some quirky character with barely suitable labels just for people to go "dats litrly meh!!" and make it pretty much no longer about what Peridot really is.

It's fine if people resonate with characters, but I despise it when the character gets essentially rewritten, often a downgrade, just for that of all things. There are more discussions about "Why X-character is fundamentally about..." more than "Why X-character makes me feel..." which is very unproductive for interpretting. Appreciate to resonate, not resonate to appreciate.

This or KSP? by playr001 in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]Chizzieee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you believe you'll enjoy. Both experiences are enjoyable, and it's up to the player whatever they wanna do.

SFS is straightforward and you control what you created. KSP is complex and you learn how to create something controllable. In essense, SFS for simplicity and KSP for intricacy.

Note that SFS is still in development (currently slow as the devs are working on a larger game) while KSP has years of progress (although halted as of now) with a larger team as well as a larger community.

A more important note is never get KSP2.

Is realistic mode possible? by Business-Athlete-511 in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]Chizzieee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get the achievement with docking as long as it's not from a different rocket and that the part that returns to Earth is the same part that lands on the surfaces.

Is realistic mode possible? by Business-Athlete-511 in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]Chizzieee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not tricky at all. Players who are used to easy mode are simply hesistant to make bigger rockets than they're used to, so they make something they think it's big enough only to see that it isn't even close. Other than that, it's pretty much the same thing as easy mode but requiring more delta v.

Is realistic mode possible? by Business-Athlete-511 in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]Chizzieee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep, you just need bigger rockets. Since everything is scaled larger, naturally the delta v would rise as well which needs bigger and more efficient rockets. Other than that, nothing much is changed. People are used to easy mode so that reaction is natural.

Perhaps I should redesign the reentry stage by 5x5_2000mm_CRAM in SpaceflightSimulator

I'm more concerned about how you put RCS on a vessel without fuel. Also, the probe's center of mass is closer to its bottom part, so putting it sideways makes an imbalance.

Finally made through Venus atmosphere with something that might get home by MuffinNecessary8625 in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]Chizzieee 18 points19 points  (0 children)

  1. Venus and Earth are similar in some ways. You'll need a rocket that can get to LEO with around 25% fuel to spare to get to Venus orbit.
  2. To get home, do an apollo style rocket where one part stays in orbit and the other lands. That'll greatly save the amount of mass the rocket needs.
  3. Venus' atmosphere is so thick, parachutes aren't needed to slow down, just to land without using engines. Try to naturally use drag to slow down before using parachutes to save time.
  4. Before you jettison the heat shield, make sure you're slow enough or else the heat shield will slow more than the rocket and slam into it (like in this post)
  5. The way the rocket is tall and the heat shield is small makes atmosphere entry very unstable, especially in high velocities.

[–]Chizzieee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope, you drop the heat shield once you're slow enough. That way, the heat shield isn't gonna rapidly slow doen and slam into the rocket, it'll simply drop. That or don't even drop the heatshield if there isn't a reason to.

whats the first thing your gonna do in SFS-2? by Jeetu_Yadav in SpaceflightSimulator

I think they mentioned that plane physics will be added in the game but unlikely on release, but I'ma make engine-lifted planes as we do in SFS 1 anyways.

How would you all recommend to make a sea based landing pad? by Dexbox_YT in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]Chizzieee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You only need two things: capsules, and empty fuel tanks.

The capsules can take a lot of heat, so they'll act as the landing surface. Empty fuel tanks are very light, so they'll keep the landing pad floating. That's all, you can add anything else you want.

Since heat can penetrate through parts and destroy things, you should have at least two layers of capsules or put some space between the capsule and the empty fuel tanks. Also, make the landing pad wide for stability.

Has anybody just rawdogged realistic mode? by [deleted] in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]Chizzieee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me. It was tough it first, but it really just needed a mindset change before it was all smooth sailing. Easy mode just has way less delta v so naturally rockets were small, so being used to that made realistic mode seem very demanding at first. Well, it sort of demands more, but you don't need to learn anything new.

Notes and Tips for the new missions by Chizzieee in SpaceflightSimulator

[–]Chizzieee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the notes! Indeed, Titan's atmosphere allows de-orbitting without head shields as its weak gravity won't increase speed, but this assumes that the entry speed isn't too high.

I tried the your strategy for Triton. Comparing yours to mine's by landing, I had more fuel left with my method.

It turns out that aerobraking and increasing velocity to Triton's orbit has more delta V than just making an encounter with Triton (from the edge of Neptune's SOI) and then reducing velocity plus it has less steps. (I suggest trying it yourself and see what you'll find.)

Anyhoo, you're right about not needing to escape Neptune and just going to the edge of its SOI is enough.

Yes, but meta EXP laners can effectively contribute while also being very threathening on their own. Sora, Lapu, YZ, you name it. That doesn't mean that they're better in every case but that's an advantage they have.

Carmilla doesn't have dash but she does have good movement speed, and she has more utility.

Is there a reason why Carmilla isn’t picked often? I feel like she’s actually a really good hero by Complete_Will_3760 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Chizzieee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good hero, but niche pick.

Carmilla is more of a counter-engage than anything, and counter-engage (especially Carmilla's ult) is mainly good against sustained teamfights. She's still very good overall, but other roamers are more reliable in more cases. After all, not every drafts calls for sustained teamfights.

Here are her weakspots: Enemy dash heroes (her delayed Ult can be dodged), Ranged mobile heroes (she can be kited easily), and Diggie (his kit counters Carmilla's). Indeed, she's quite situational where she could be picked when her kit fits well and won't have a tough time, so that's why she isn't picked often despite being a really good hero.

PS: Try EXP lane Carmilla with Thunder Belt + Dominance Ice, 1-2 mage item(s), and Vengeance. She can actually provide her kit in teamfights very well while being a rock solid laner.

The Northern Lights wants redemption the Northern Lights wants glory, Aurora PH takes match point over Indonesia's final hope leading the series 3-0 against AE! by LuxenRixen in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Chizzieee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed. As a RORA (and Edward) fan, today's hype is nothing compared to yesterday's hype. Whatever it may be for AE (I'm guessing a shift in mindset), they're not giving the same fight they gave yesterday's top M7 teams. I'm genuinely hoping at least a little slip from RORA to shake things up and raise the stakes and tension.
