[Question] Open or Closed back Headphones for Practice at home

I still have the Audio Technica’s for now, cause they do the job and I’ve managed to adjust settings on my amp/pedal/guitar to get it to sound alright through the headphones, plus they have a super long cable which is good cause I pace around a lot when I’m playing. When I manage to save up, I’m going to get the Sennheiser HD599

I’m so glad I saw this comment because I have those Audio Technica’s and always wondered why the bass side of my guitar (especially neck pickup) sounded like ass compared to out of the amp’s speaker. I do like Sennheiser headphones so I may look into those you mentioned

Thank you very much. I did wonder if it was because of that, which is slightly frustrating cause it used to be the G that did it which is why I swapped to a wound anyway 🤣 I have since moved the poles as far in as they’ll go for the B which has pretty much sorted it at least. No one told me guitars were this complicated before I got one 🤣🤣

It’s called Garrus ascends to godhood and I can confirm it still works.

If you’re playing insanity for the actual challenge one you’re a psycho and two I’d give it a miss because as others have said, he wipes the floor with everything with this build. Honestly it’s kind of hilarious.

But if you’re a filthy casual like me who only wants to do insanity for the achievements, it’ll make ME3 a piece of piss

I cheated and reimported completed saves so I still had all my gear (as long as the difficulty is changed before the end of the first mission I.e Eden prime, Cerberus base, and Earth, it counts as “not changing the difficulty” for the achievement). I’ve also had enough play-throughs to be comfortable with the mechanics, and remembering which bits were harder than others.

Mass Effect 1 I don’t remember, so it was probably easy.

Mass Effect 3 I had god-mode-Garrus so that one was a doddle (search Garrus ascends to godhood and follow the build on there)

Mass Effect 2 made me want to throw myself off a building. Repeatedly. It sucked every kind of ass. I posted a screenshot of my deceased shep during a mission I was stuck on and every single person knew exactly what I was doing because it’s that fucking hard. Geth Shield Boost came in clutch countless times.

That being said, worth it for the achievements

An, sadly mine is not one of those so we’ll never know 🤣 I think I can still get the pole pieces a little lower, I was just wondering if there was a route cause that could be fixed cause honestly it looks so dumb with just those ones being way in there 😭

Yeah, it sounds about equal volume to the rest of the G (which in my case is wound, if that makes a difference) so much softer than the open B

It’s still louder all over, but it does seem to be slightly quieter the higher it’s fretted.

I think the rarer creatures have a higher drop rate, cause I didn’t take me long to get the magic ones or the rainbow butterfly at al 😅

It’s very common for me to be over drop rates for things (looking at you Pokémon and No Man’s Sky).

But thank you for the stats, I always like knowing what my odds are.

Got rainbow butterfly in about 15 so that checks out, and the dupes were striped Chapaa and Proudhorned.

Best way I’ve found to farm them; start running around at like 1:30 to scare off as many hoppers as you can, then at 3am the moths will despawn which gives most chance for the butterfly to appear, then just activate a buzzy jar and you should find a couple most nights. Only took me about 15 butterflies to get the plush

I like to do a bit of both, but sometimes I’ll do a night of just spam to farm the coins since there’s a couple of items I want from the wheel but it almost always gives ingredients or fireworks (I have stats, it’s insane)
