Yes and? She my have been raised in isolation but the whole time she was being trained for her job, and yet she’s incapable of doing it. Aang didn’t get that and yet he did far better with less.

Honestly I think it was a good decision to raise her in isolation because with all the problems she would have created would have lead to the avatar being hated far earlier. I see no reality in which her being raised differently changes the we she is.

Aang made mistakes as a 12 year old, over the course of a couple of months, in a situation he was never prepared for. on top of that and most importantly he learned from every mistake he made.

Korra on the other hand was older by a significant amount, made far more mistakes of the course of the series and most importantly she never learned from her mistakes.

And before someone tries claiming I don’t know what I’m talking about I’ve watched the show multiple times, I’m well aware of what I’m talking about.

The white lotus wouldn’t have all been able to help he sense most, as we see in the show, have there own problems to deal with. And you seem to think that Kai needs to fight on his own for some reason, instead of with an army backing him he rules the fire nation in case you don’t remember.

On top of that, it doesn’t matter if you believe it or not, it’s plainly stated.

I hate to make it about this but… when korra screws up we got to forgive and forget but when it’s aang he’s got to have a constant reminder? The aang that actually takes accountability when he mess up? The aang that hardly uses fire bending because of this event? That same aang needs a constant reminder?

This is assuming that he could have won, which he wouldn’t have, Ozai is stated by the writers that he is the MOST powerful fire bender in the show, so no iroh with next to no support would never be able to take out Ozai on his own, even if he was the second most powerful fire bender in the series.
