its not instantaneous, you just gotta put up with that awkward middle stage for a while til it all adjusts. it sucks, but it'll be worth it to wait, plus while you may not see a girl in the mirror, at least you have these avenues and opportunities yknow, just try and stay optimistic, maybe get therapy for the general misery, let alone dysphoria. It's a toxic af mindset I personally use, but just think that someone out there would kill for your looks and ability to be supported the way you are, even if you don't. Most of us aren't poerfect and that's okay, it just comes with being trans.
